Detailed Reviews
Me and my partner spent a long weekend at this hotel and had a great time. The owners are a very friendly family who are keen to help and share tips on the city. But not in an intrusive way. The room was nice and comfortable, great value considering the price.
Also as Prague is quite compact everything is a 20 minute walk away and you feel very central.
I’d definitely stay again and will recommend to my friends.

This a great local hotel near Andel. We were able to walk to the old town easily, especially during covid not wanting to take public transit. There is a pcr testing facility in andel as well which is convenient. Located on s street behind the Staropramen brewery too. easy walk to several restaurants and bars in the area, most following covid rules. there is a breakfast option with fresh coffee, hot panini type sandwiches. good breakfast. very nice accommodating owner.

Kristina gave us a great welcome with good humor and lots of good advice! The apartment was really very well equipped and spacious. The breakfast offered on site is also top notch and the location is perfect because it is close to transport to arrive from the airport and otherwise everything can be done on foot with the old town 20 minutes away.

I stayed at Aparthotel City 5 for 3 nights in October 2024. I saw the pictures and reviews prior to booking and also heard the wonderful things previous guest mentioned about Kristina and I must say they were correct. From the airport I took bus number 191 to Na Knizeci which is a 45 minute ride and 3 minute walk to the hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by Kristina and during my entire stay she made me feel like a guest in her house. Every morning at breakfast she asked what my plans were for the day and made sure I knew how to get there and how to get tickets if needed. Since I only had 2 full days of sightseeing in Prague, Kristina gave me a map of the city with what I should see in the time I had. The accommodation was practical, clean, comfortable and simple. Getting around Prague from the hotel was easy. There is a bus, tram and metro station all within minutes from the hotel. If you like walking, it was about a 20 minute walk to old town and lessor town. I enjoyed my stay at Aparthotel City 5, having Kristina as a host makes it a great place to stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Prague. Thank you Kristina for the wonderful stay!

I have nothing but superlatives for this hotel. The rooms are modern, spacious, and clean, and each apartment has a kitchen. There are many local stores and small shops nearby, with a broad selection of food from all over the world (and especially Czech!), all within easy walking distance. And Kristina, your hostess, is extraordinary - your wish is her command!

My second time here. Felt like coming back to another home. Kristina is extremely friendly and she also understood in a second that I don't need help with anything, but made sure that I can call/message her anytime if there's a problem or should I need some advice.
Breakfast is basic, I don't usually eat much in the morning so it was more than enough for me.
I did not have TV in my room, but then again I didn't go abroad to watch TV - so stop whining about tellys and available channels.
I could use the free WiFi to check the news.
Also the man there was really friendly (Kristina's husband?). Dang I forgot to introduce myself to him. Met him once on the street nearby and he greeted me with a big smile. I think he talks only czech, but luckily I speak some too.
I had a early flight back home, so when I was leaving, I had a nice gift on my room's door handle waiting for me. I've never had any gifts from any other places I've stayed at.
Shortly put: Easy check-in, easy check-out, friendly staff, the room had everything I needed.
R.I.P. Nero. I miss you.

Fantastic stay, Kristina is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Nero (lovely dog) is unforgettable. Location is excellent walking distance to all the attractions, and 2 mins walk to the river. Great place and we will be back for sure.

I traveled all over Europe while I studied abroad and the this hotel was the very best I have ever stayed at. It might be my favorite hotel ever, Kristina the owner is the best. She tells you all the places to go, the best times, and provides the best breakfast. I really really loved staying here. It is within walking distance of everything. Kristina is just so helpful. The room was very clean, and I had everything I needed. She also provides a safe in each room which is a huge plus.
The breakfast is also wonderful, I really enjoyed my time. I also would like to point out I felt vey safe as a solo traveler here. If I am ever back in Prague I will be sure to stay again!

it was excellent. best host ever, i even probably broke my toe in our last day there and she was very tender and helped me a lot. even gave me ice to have on airport. I felt like i was at my second home there. The placement is very good as well, close to metro station, to a shopping center and close to the river

I do not believe that room service and cleaning is provided. You can have your laundry done for a small fee. There are plenty of clean towels in the units.
No there is no room service. There are couple of restaurants down the hotel you can get your food to the room.
yes there is a lift
