It's a nice wellness chateau with extensive golf facilities (so nice views of the greenery) and absolutely fantastic wellness. The hotel is situated next to the motorway so at times you can hear cars, not see them though. It took us about 25 minutes to get to the centre by car. It all started with a wrong rate quoted for the booking that the hotel confirmed in writing and then called me in panic that they could not give me such rate; in the end, we agreed on an acceptable compromise. When we arrived, I was quite disappointed at the service but then it got better and people were polite and helpful. We had a 'tasting dinner' booked in the hotel restaurant which was really excellent including service, compared to the buffet breakfast where one has to set up their own table - every day - and waiters are just clearing up. Our room was the best room and located in the tower but the bathroom was not very practical - it has only a bath and the shower head is not attached to the wall. There is only one small shelf so I had to use a table in the room to place all my toiletries on. Shame as the room was really nice and romantic, with a four-poster bed. The best kept secret is the spa facility - we booked a three-hour package, so one hour in the sauna, one getting a massage and one in the whirlpool. We had these facilities fully at our disposal. Our package also included a bottle of Prosecco and two large bottles of water. These facilities can be booked even if you do not stay in the hotel. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we will definitely use the spa again in the future.…
We have started with a picnic in the garden, which was great but the grass cutter has been revolving around us as a vulture. For a dinner we had 4 dishes menu, started at 6, but ended at 9, so for me very very slow... also the rabbit was too salty and fish cold... I would say the food was Ok but not delicious as I expected. Than we moved to the room with very loud music from the corridor...after 10 we called the reception to finally stop the irritating noise. And in the morning there was no soap left, so the staff is probably not very caring.
Very nice setting in a beautiful park, close to the highway. Excellent restaurant. The golf course is inviting you to play during your stay. Rooms are spacious. We stay in this hotel every time we cross the country. The only thing we don't like:the noisy garden work on a beautiful weekend morning, during breakfast time. I would recommend to schedule this kind of work for a less busy period of the week.
Despite the booking confirmation, we were informed 24 hours before the visit that they had no place for us and they offered us lunch with a view of the parking lot. And that despite the fact that we are regular customers. We won't be anymore.
A friend has booked a room for our celebration for one night. The hotel's reception confirmed a room, even gave the room number and described the view. According to the agreement, I should have contacted them directly, specifying what services we want (dinner, wellness). I sent an e-mail with confirmation and request for payment instructions within a few days. No one ever answered it. Later, my friend told me they had a big event at the hotel and that they probably do not have rooms available. A four-star hotel with total incompetence of staff. And when that happens, well, terrible communication. I would expect at least the slightest - an apology.
Stayed here for Valentine's Day and it was a very nice experience. Hotel is quaint and the staff is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed using the spa service and will likely go back. We also enjoyed a very tasty dinner in their glass enclosed terrace, which was charming. The carpaccio was very good!
The hotel is good, not great. It is a very nicely converted 'castle' and looks great from the outside. The inside isn't modern or luxurious but is very clean and feels harmonious. The grounds are small but well kept. There is supposed to be a golf course but all we found were a driving range - into a lake :) - and pitching/putting practice facilities. Perhaps the golf course is further away. We didn't eat in the evening (see below) but the restaurant was fully booked for Valentine's anyway. We had a late lunch instead and couldn't fault the catering. Well cooked, delicious and very well presented. The breakfast was as good. The bacon wasn't great but I'm British, so prejudiced against bacon served anywhere outside the UK or Ireland. The rest of the buffet was very good. Plenty of choice and of good quality. The spa in the hotel cellar is very, very nice and was a big part of the reason why we chose the hotel for a romantic Valentine's break. We live in Prague and had visited other local spas run by the Infinit group. The spa at the Chateau didn't disappoint. We had a massage in the evening and another in the morning, after checkout. We both felt great after both. The reason why the hotel didn't get five blobs was the location. It is between a very busy road and a railway. If it hadn't still been Winter and the noise hadn't been excluded by the double glazing, I'd imagine the constant drone from the dual carriageway would have been pervasive. We'll visit the hotel again, but not when it's too warm to keep the windows closed.…
I stayed here because of it's convenient location close to the IKEM Hospital. Nice rooms, but especially the restaurant was my favourite. Nice local dishes, but also a very nice pasta dish. Staff is very professional and friendly and you feel at ease. Very nice breakfast buffet. Will book this hotel more often.
I would highly recommend wellness (masage, whirpool, sauna) and hotel restaurant. They adjusted our menu to vegetarian. When you book a room, you then need to make a special reservation for wellness and restaurant. Nice and professional staff. Good selection of wine. Breakfast is continental in the form of bufet. Free pick up from the airport (we haven't used it but we're offered to).
Great experience in the centre of Prague - very nice accommodation in a castle style (NESPRESSO minibar in the room), clean and very cosy and relaxing private wellness, very nice and welcoming staff. We also enjoyed the a la carte menu and great breakfast. The good thing is you are kind of in a nature (golf course nearby) but still in central Prague with easy reach everywhere.
