Very central - all sights can easily be reached on foot. Nicely equipped rooms. Very stilish and individual. Very tidy and clean. Towels were changed daily, bedlinen after 3 days even though we were only staying for 1 week. Friendly and reliable receptionists. Reception open 24/7. However, not very much relaxing. You enter the 4 star hotel through a pub... More

The location is perfect for a trip to cute Prague city center. The friendly personnel helps you with parking wi´hich is always difficult. Rooms are clean and big. The bed is perfect for the back, not too soft not too hard. The pub serves fresh beer from tank and good local food for execellent pricing in the center!

Very nice hotel in an excellent location adjacent to Charles Bridge. Previous reviews had mentioned it was hot but too noisy to have windows open and no A/C. Most of that was true but there was a fan in the room and it wasn't that noisy outside....

My friend and I stayed here for four nights and had no complaints. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom/shower were really nice as well. The location is good - we mostly spent our time partying at clubs and bars on the other side of the Charles bridge, but it wasn't a bad walk since this is... More

Right next to the St Charles Bridge on the castle side, the rooms were lovely and the service very good but the partiers at the bar were very noisy and there was no air conditioning. Also a challenge: no parking of any kind nearby. If you are coming by taxi in a cooler part of the year, I would highly... More

Booked them through trip advisor. Pros-- excellent location near the Charles bridge, clean spacious rooms, comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff. A special mention of the waitress 'Clara' -- she serves breakfast, always smiling and is a credit to this hotel. Cons--no elevator---you will need to carry your bags up multiple flights of narrow stairs, no air conditioning and the... More

we stayed 3 nights in another Inn right on the street of Charles Bridge and it was so busy, after eating dinner at the Lokal restaurant we decided to extent our stay and try the Lokal Inn for a night. I wished I had stayed there the whole time...not such a busy street, amazing food (but breakfast was not as... More

My husband and I did not stay here but we peered through the window and saw an appetizing breakfast buffet of meats, cheeses, breads, etc. So we stopped in and were told we could have breakfast w/o a room. We sat in the side dining room, with it's funky backlit wood carvings, and were offered both the buffet and selections... More

We really enjoyed to stay at Lokal Inn. Family room spacious and well organized, perfect for family. Location is fabulous! Only 2 minutes’ walk from Charles Bridge, right at the center of Prague. Breakfast excellent. Pub style restaurant with good beer very popular during day and night, great typical Czech food.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Right next to the Charles bridge but on the quieter side. Easy to get to all attractions and right at the bottle of the castle. Breakfast was really good. Hotel clean and rooms very big. We didn't hear any noise but where at the back of the hotel. Hotel can get quite busy as... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
