Hotel Brixen is situated in the centre of Prague, only 10 minutes walking from Wenceslaw Square. The nearest metro station, I.P.Pavlova is only 2 minutes away. Ideal for those looking for comfort at exceptional value in a strategic downtown location. We offer cozy and clean, new equipped rooms with TV/SAT, minibar, phone and sanitary facility.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Good location, you can reach the main monuments both by metro which leaves you near the steps leading to the castle, and on foot. The hotel is comfortable, clean bathroom, no shower cap The breakfast was acceptable, not very sweet, but there were 2 types of croissants, the savory choice was much more varied. Possibility to purchase half board

Very sorry I am only just writing review ... This place is absolutely my favourite . We arrived pretty late about 10:30pm with three children aged 3,4 and 11 , we was very warmly welcome and the room was amazing . We had bottle of wine , Czech kolacek and other freebies waiting for us . The room was ver extremely clean and warm . We only stayed one night as we traveled to see my family next day . The bathroom had everything you need for the stay . It also was very nice and quiet . In morning we payed only about ÂŁ23 for breakfast for all 5 of us as the small children had free breakfast . The food choice was really lovely and fresh . Everyone was very kind . As we handed our keys back we got given nice mini jars with jams for free and other little bits . Definitely would stay again ! Thank you so so much all the staff for a lovely time

This hotel is in an excellent location near metro IP Pavlova and in between the historic center and the bustling area of Vinohrady. Rooms are a bit old fashioned, but nevertheless cosy and very very clean. Rooms on the back side of the building are nice and quiet, but sounds from the hall can still be heard. Thankfully, the other guests were respectful and did not make too much noise. The staff is friendly and upon arrival we received some nice welcome gifts. Would recommend!

Everything was going well until the second night when we started to feel itching. It began on our feet when we were barefoot on the carpet and spread all over our bodies during the night. On the third night, everyone in the room was bitten, and we initially thought it was mosquitoes. On the last day, we finally managed to photograph a bed bug on the bed and zoomed in; there was no doubt anymore. We showed the bites to the front desk employee during check-out, but when we contacted the manager Vaclav through messages, we only received rudeness. He called us liars, humiliated us, and was incredibly unpleasant! We spent 60 euros washing all our clothes, hardened days of itching and pain, and even lost a day of our trip. I do not recommend it at all!

My room number 42 was different from my friends rooms. I haven’t the kettle, the fridge, the safe box, the light switch, close to the bed. They have them. Besides the door entering the room was broken. The first day they did not clean my room. I had only one towel and no shower carpet. At breakfast orange juice was disgusting. The last they we were talking to the reception man about fixing taxi, for leaving. He said he did do not talk to me, but only to my male friend, because he is from Montenegro, where men talk to men, not to women. This is racism. Eventually he reserved transfert, for airport, telling us to pay to the driver, only by card, maximum 700 crowns. Actually the driver asked for 1100 crowns, only by cash. We had only euros. The change was 1 euro= 25 crowns, it was 44 euros. He applied 1 euro = 20 crowns, and he asked us 50 euros, he robbed us.

I have stayed there many times over the past few years. I always book the same room. It is only 5 mins walk from I P Pavlova metro station and 12 mins walk from Wenceslas. It has 24 hour reception which is great because i always arrive very late. The choice of breakfast offerings is amazing, all of the items home made and delicious. There is good wifi, even in the breakfast room. I have no complaints what so-ever, and will stay there again on my next trip to Prague (October, Covid permitting)

We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Brixen, having stayed in this area before we knew exactly where it was. Excellent central location, you can walk to all the sights from here.
At first we thought the room was a bit small, but turned out it was perfectly adequate, very clean and comfortable. Towels changed every day, very impressed with cleaning of room. Mini bar, safe and television in the room.
Breakfast was lovely, great choice of items...something for everyone. Just one small thing to note, the coffee/tea station isn't in the best place with people wanting to pass in the very narrow passageway.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the lady on reception who gave me a nice gift on checking out - a little jar of home made apple, pear and cinnamon jam... looking forward to trying it later today.
All in all a fantastic time in Prague at Hotel Brixen..... see you next time, because we will definitely be back.
Thanks for all at Hotel Brixen xx

Amazing service and clean rooms. The parking is quite tight so keep that in mind while renting cars. Older style yet roomy. The walk to the centre is about 15-20 minutes so its at an amazing location. Keep in mind the ac does not work so it’s gets quite warm, i kept the windows open for a breeze at night.

Perfect delicious breakfasts, tasty bakery, great choice of drinks, different menu, beautiful music during breakfast, comfortable time for breakfast ( from 6:30 a.m. till 11 a.m.). Kind staff. It’s warm in the room in winter. The hotel is in five walk minutes from Wenceslas Square. Your boarding passes are printed on reception. We are lucky to be here.

Stayed a week, nice staff, good warm comfortable rooms.. little noise from doors slamming shut from the staircase, door closers would solve this minor problem. Excellent location, would definitely stay again.
