Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for 1 night because my flight was arriving at midnight.
Taxi was rather expensive for such a short trip 270 czk (7min).
Check in was quick, I had a twin room for myself which was big and comfortable with shower room and toilet separately.
There was shampoo and soap available.
Breakfast included was simple with good bread (not some toast preudo-bread).
One thing that could be better was soundproofing. I had to wear my ear plugs because of a guy snoring loudly next door haha....

This is a good hotel near the airport. It is a tour hotel and a businessmans hotel. It is clean, very efficent and has a decent breakfast. It fit the bill perfect for us since we had an early flight out the next day. For $62,US hard to beat.

One thing that pissed me off was if you book it through booking.com it says you have a free shuttle to airport. That is incorrect and I had to pay for it. Not a huge deal but if I would of known that I would of booked a hotel closer to the airport. Hotel was nice enough, not really close to anything.

This is a good value stay for anyone coming to Prague.
The rooms (at least on the third floor) are very big, clean, although rather basic. Staff are quite helpful and there is a restaurant on the site if you don't have time/energy to explore further.
Main downside is the location; too far out to be a proper 'airport hotel' but not really centrally located either. My GPS had trouble finding it on the first day. Saying that there is free parking and is well suited for travelers with a car.
The slightly difficult location is however reflected in the good price (about €30 per night), and this is a fine location if you need a 'no frills' base in the city.

I spent 4 nights in Hotel Meritum. Not bad for the money. Hotel has good location near the airport. Hotel is situated in relatively quiet location. Hotel is clean with average room equipment. There is private car parking place.

Hotel is conveniently located near by airport, in case you rent a car. Room was clean, and staff friendly. Across the parking lot very nice restaurant "U Rychtare" excellent food and beverages. Nice refreshment after seightseeing the Prague. Definitely will be back. Summer stay may be not so good, no AC in rooms. Point of interest, hotel is located next to the famous prison Ruzyne.

Interestingly located about 4 kilometers from the airport and next to a prison! Best word to describe this hotel is basic & functional. Good points: Price £30 a night for a double with brekfast; breakfast plenty but basic; convenient for the airport; rooms clean; bathrooms large & clean. Bad points: no english spoken; furniture in bedrooms basic; noise from bar & disco (accross the car park); difficult to find. For one night it was ok - for any longer, unless you are on a very tight budget i wouldn't bother.

I recently stayed at the Meritum for one night while traveling between cities. I picked the hotel for its "convenient" location near the Prague airport. After a 20-minute bus ride from the airport, we had to walk nearly a quarter of a mile to the hotel. Unfortunately, we discovered that the only restaurant in the area is the hotel restaurant so we were limited on food choices. There are also no other amenities near the hotel (stores, gas station, etc.) We made arrangements with the hotel for a "taxi" the next morning for our return trip to the airport, which in reality was just an employee's personal car, and cost us 350 kc. The man at the desk also tried to double bill us for the room, which had been paid in advance by a third party, even though it said that on the voucher that we gave them. All in all, a very disappointing stay.

The hotel is close to the airport and with easy access even by public transportation or by taxi, 15 minutes to reach airport. Hotel is bit old furnitured and style as used to be 30 year ago. But all clean and staff is very helpfull to explain all what you need.

Hello Carole. Thank you for your question. The taxi downtown will approximately cost 400 CZK (15 Euro). However, it is very easy and significantly cheaper to reach the center by means of public transportation - city train has a direct connection ( ticket price one way is between 1 -1,5 Euro), buses, metro.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
