We checked in for 2 nights. The hotel is full of character and it is positioned perfectly. The view from our room was outstanding. We were impressed by the the 2 girls from the reception, they were very helpful and welcoming, lovely girls. We will recommend the hotel to our friends as it is perfect when visiting Prague. Thank you.

Lovely area, especially Kampa Park, which is literally next door. Room and bed was comfortable, clean, spacious. Good wifi too! Breakfast variety was very good considering it is only a six room hotel, but the quality was certainly not 4 star! Check out was a bit confused. I was (almost) refused help with travel arrangements because I had arranged my... More

This hotel was in a great location, the breakfast is minimal and probably isn't worth the money. It is hit and miss depending on the staff member who prepares it. Generally there was a bit of fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs & cold meat, coffee from those pod things. You'd be better off going elsewhere for breakfast. The room was cleaned... More

Great hotel. Cannot get closer to the center of town , quiet, comfy beds, great staff, adjustable room temp, great view, good enough breakfast. I was in room 3. Choose that side for prate and a view. Better than most around

I usually avoid writing bad comments when I am not satisfied with a hotel. But in this case I have to share my experience with people as this is the objective of trip advisor. Negative aspects : 1) There were some spiders ( I saw three) inside the room and also in the breakfast room and this is not acceptable.... More

This was a WONDERFUL family owned hotel. Main points are as follows: Room-Had a beautiful, large room with little foyer and large bathroom. There was only a tub with a shower head you have to hold, this was not a problem at all for us, but just fyi Location-excellent location, right on the river near Charles Bridge Amenities-breakfast included was... We recently stayed in this boutique hotel, perfectly located on Kampa Island adjacent to the Charles Bridge. Our large room was clean and nicely decorated in a period style with timber floors and attic window views towards Prague Castle. Service was very friendly and helpful and we were welcomed with a complimentary drink on our first night. Continental breakfast was... More

Very small hotel 20m away from Charles Bridge with rooms overlooking the river. So small that you feel like you are in your own house. Staff are always smiling and helpful unlike many other places in Czech. Breakfast is very nice, the chef himself will take your order so you can have it your way.

Prague has a reputation -- and for me, it was a miss. One of Europe's most beautiful cities, but it doesn't feel well integrated into the modern EU. That said, picking this cozy spot at the foot of the Charles Bridge, on a charming island in the heart of the city was an excellent choice. Close to most everything, but... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
