Grandium Hotel Prague is often celebrated for its pristine and contemporary vibe, with guests enjoying the clean, comfortable rooms and the inviting lobby bar. The hotel's location is a highlight, situated within easy reach of Prague's top sights, which guests appreciate. While the service generally receives high marks for professionalism, there have been isolated reports of less satisfactory encounters. The array of amenities, especially the expansive breakfast options, adds to the hotel's appeal, although opinions on value and room noise level vary among visitors.

Started badly at reception , although we arrived early we could not give our details to sign in (in order to later pick up keys when ready) had to go back later to do so. Had a problem to hand in cases until room ready . Not very organised. The room was ok but duvet too small as they put 2 single beds together . Toilet very low and shower was poor with water on the floor of the bathroom as shower slide too small. No free water in the room? Very small restaurant and choice for evening meal as main restaurant closed in the evening (made us eat out every evening). The breakfast was excellent with very good choice but what was odd we had to collect half a glass of orange juice on the way in (machine juice was squash). Staff at breakfast never looked happy. Positive was the location , safe and fridge in the room and a small cocktail bar also towels and bedding changed regularly. Star rating far too high. Last time in Prague we stayed at a much better hotel (but this one was well advertised).

Dear Gerallt E, Here’s a balanced and professional response to the review: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your detailed insights. We apologize for the inconvenience caused at reception during check-in and with luggage storage. Your comments have been noted, and we’ll review our procedures to ensure they are more streamlined and accommodating for early arrivals. We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your room, such as the bedding, bathroom setup, and amenities, did not provide the level of comfort you anticipated. Your feedback regarding the duvet size, low toilet, and shower design has been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for review and improvement. As for dining, we understand your frustration with the limited evening meal options due to our main restaurant being closed. While we’re glad you enjoyed the breakfast selection, we’ll evaluate the current setup and service to ensure it provides a more positive experience for all guests. On a brighter note, we’re pleased to know that you appreciated the location, in-room amenities, and regular linen changes, which we aim to provide consistently. We value your feedback about the star rating and how we present our property, as it helps us manage guest expectations more accurately. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience should you choose to stay with us in the future

We wanted a hotel near the main railway station whilst in Prague. After looking at reviews, we decided to book this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. On arrival, we were really happy to verify whilst the railway station was only a few minutes away it was in a relatively quiet area. The reception staff were friendly, attentive, and informative. There is a QR code available in the reception area, which gives you a 10% discount on any meals in the restaurant and bar. The hotel was large but easy to navigate.
The bedrooms were very well appointed and modern, and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower, which we love. Arriving early in the evening we decided to eat in the restaurant. The food was of good quality and tasty. Breakfast was self service with unlimited amounts of both hot and cold tasty food. Quite rightly the hotel encourages its customers not to waste food. As we left the hotel to explore Prague, we realised that all the main attractions were not far to walk to. As the majority of the city centre is pedestrianised, walking is the best way to get around.
We certainly could not fault this hotel and would recommend anyone to stay.

Friendly and welcoming staff, absolutely spotless hotel. Located 5 minutes to national museum, old town. Room very clean, although bed sheets were not changed every day( stayed for 3 nights- sheets never changed) , bathroom cleaned every day.
Hotel food- buffet style, plenty to choose from, if not included in stay package- a bit pricey (€18 for breakfast per person) … coffee cups very very tiny ( I’m morning coffee person so needed about 6 tiny tiny cups to get me going)
Over all good stay for city break

Dear a.s, Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our hotel for your city break! We’re delighted to hear that our friendly and welcoming staff, as well as the spotless cleanliness of the hotel, made a positive impression on your stay. It’s great that you appreciated our convenient location, just minutes away from the National Museum and Old Town. We’re sorry to hear that the bed sheets weren’t changed during your three-night stay—our standard practice is typically to change them every few days unless otherwise requested, but we’ll ensure this is reviewed with our housekeeping team. We’re glad the bathroom’s daily cleaning met your expectations. It’s great to know you enjoyed the variety of options at our buffet. We understand that coffee enthusiasts might find our cups on the smaller side; we’ll certainly take this into consideration for future improvements. Thank you again for your comments, and we’re pleased you had a good overall stay. We’d love the chance to welcome you back on your next visit!

Pros - great location - central to all the main attractions.

Cons - we booked this hotel for two reasons. The first reason was the location and the second was the fact the rooms are advertised as “sound proof.” The rooms are definitely not sound proof. The first room we were placed in (second floor) above the bar - the music was clearly auditable. We asked to be moved and were given a room on the seventh floor. While we couldn’t hear the music from this room we could hear doors slamming all night (as people came and left their room), people talking and they were walk up and down the corridor to their rooms? children crying at night and early in the morning, adults talking and moving things around in their room. I’m really disappointed we chose this hotel and feel it’s been misrepresented (how can you advertise the rooms as sound proof when they clearly aren’t? This is probably one of the noise hotels I’ve stayed in). If you want to be woken every hour by slamming doors and kids crying then this is the hotel for you, otherwise chose another hotel. I suggest the hotel reconsiders advertising its rooms as “sound proof”.

Dear ElephanthillsCA, Thank you for sharing your feedback. While I’m glad you appreciated our central location, I’m deeply sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding noise levels. We sincerely apologize for the disturbance you experienced during your stay. Your frustration is completely understandable, especially as one of the reasons you selected our hotel was the advertised soundproofing. We regret that we were unable to provide the peaceful environment you were expecting. Your concerns regarding noise from the bar, doors, and other guests are noted and will be carefully reviewed. We strive to ensure all our guests have a comfortable and restful experience, and we apologize for falling short in this instance. Your suggestion to revisit how we advertise soundproofing is fair, and we will reevaluate our descriptions to align with the reality of our facilities. We appreciate your honesty, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Please know we take your comments seriously and will explore ways to better minimize noise disruptions for our guests. Once again, I apologize for your disappointing experience and truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If there’s an opportunity to regain your trust, we would be grateful to welcome you back and ensure your stay is far more enjoyable. Václav Havlíček Front Office Manager

This hotel is in a great location close to Wenceslas Square. It is spotlessly clean, Friendly staff provide a warm welcome upon arrival. We were early to check in, but it was no issue leaving our luggage whilst we got our bearings of the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable. Coffee machine with 2 pods provided. Breakfast selection was plentiful and staff constantly clearing tables and topping up the food choices. The uncomfortable sight is watching some guests being wasteful with overfilled plates and then leaving food to waste. The hotel makes a point about the daily amount of food waste, which was interesting. We again stored our luggage after checkout (11am) and spent time in the town for the rest of our time there. Hotel will arrange taxi to the airport, which was 1000 krona. There are other options of Bolt (uber) which can be cheaper but we wanted to use cash rather than credit card. We have stayed before at this hotel and will definitely return. Thankyou to all the lovely staff.

I experienced a Thai massage within the hotel and it was the best massage I've ever had and really reasonably priced too. Really close to all popular sites and the city centre. The staff on reception were really polite and helped us with maps etc the room its self was beautiful fresh bedding and towels everyday modern design and the beds were so comfortable. We arrived around 7pm, we were checked in straight away, paid the tourism charge and a small holding on credit card for the room, before heading in the lift to the 7th floor.

Floor only has 10 rooms so very quiet, rooms are big for a city, with air con. Our party had 2 rooms, one which had a bath and the other a shower. Tea and coffee was provided in room along with a payable mini bar/ fridge. TV has YouTube and Netflix, plug sockets both sides of the bed and a cube of sockets (including USB) on the desk. Plenty of plug sockets to charge everything up. Wifi in the hotel was fantastic, connection never dropped. Each room comes with 2 dressing gowns, a safe, body wash, soap, and body lotion.

The only problem we faced was the bed was too hard for us, on the second night we did have to sleep on top of the duvet and use the provided dressing gowns as blankets. The pillows are out of proportion, you get one huge one and a tiny one on top.

It was my mum's birthday whilst we were there and they left a letter in our room to go down to Reception and they presented her with a box of chocolates which was really nice.

Breakfast was between 6.30-10.30am, there was fresh orange juice on arrival and you had to find your own table which was a bit of struggle as it gets busy. Plenty of food choices, waffles, omelettes, yoghurts, fruit, toast, cereal, meats, cakes... although it was spread out and sometimes difficult to find what you needed. Also never any tea spoons for coffee/ tea! There is coffee machines which provide lovely cappuccinos/ lattes e.t.c.

We visited the lobby bar, quite pricey but the cocktails were amazing. Best Pina colada ever! If you are staying at the hotel you get a card that gives you 10% off any order from there.

After a disappointing start to our break with water pouring through the ceiling at the sister hotel Grand Majestic Plaza we were moved to the Grandium Hotel and we are so glad we were! The rooms were far superior with bathrobes and slippers and room cleanedand towels changed every day. Breakfasts were fabulous, lots of choice, hot and cold buffet with Omlette and waffle station, mimosa or orange juice on entry each morning. Bar was great, drinks reasonable prices with happy hour too. Reception staff and all other staff friendly and helpful. Great location, 10 minute walk either direction to main attractions. Would certainly stay here again.

Spent 3 nights here and it was absolutely fantastic.
Staff- very friendly and helpful. Spoke good english. We arrived around 1:30pm and were told our room wouldn’t be ready till 3pm (as expected, states on website) they held our luggage so we could go out and explore.
Rooms- spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed was huge and very comfy. Bathroom had both a bath and shower and was very clean. Room was cleaned Daily as well as fresh towels brought up. If you want your room made up you need to leave the sign on the door. Safe inside the room free and easy to use. Recommended that you use it for valuables as the hotel clearly states that they will take no responsibility for lost items. Heating and air-con to use as you wish. Although late December the room was rather warm so we had the temperature set to cold for majority of our stay.
Breakfast: best breakfast I’ve ever had on a European holiday! By far the best selection. Opens from 6:30-10:30am. You do not need to book. There was a selection of hot food such as full English items, different types of meat and cheese, toast bar, waffle section, fresh omelettes made to taste, cereal, cakes, pastries and even Prosecco! Super tasty and all you can eat. There is an on-sight bar that we did not use but looked very nice inside and prices seemed reasonable.
Location: approximately 10-15 minute walk to the old town, 30 seconds to the nearest mini market and about 5-10 minutes to the closest retail shops. Bars and restaurants literally everywhere you look.

If I return to Prague in the future I will certainly be staying here again. Highly recommend for all types of parties. Couples, families etc

We had a brilliant stay in the Grandium Hotel! No problems at all checking in and out and everything was super easy. The room was immaculate. All the staff were so lovely and spoke very good English.

The breakfast was even better than we expected with hot food (omelettes, eggs, sausages, bacon, beans etc.), a cereal and yoghurt station, fruit and salad, toast, waffles, and a sweet section with pastries, cakes and even brownies! Everything was always hot and fresh if we went as early as 6:30 or as late as 9. Lots of choice for everyone!

Our room was ready earlier than expected so we got to check in earlier than we were supposed to. On arrival it was spotless. Cleaners came round every day at about midday.

Overall the location, breakfast and value of this hotel was brilliant. You would never get that kind of experience for such a good price in England and it was well worth it. If we come back to Prague we'll be sure to stay in this hotel again. Highly recommend!
