Great location, really charming. About twenty mins to the town centre on the tram - so great sightseeing experience too. Good value for money. Comfortable, just what you need once you plan to be all day out and about and use it only for a sleep over. Exactly as expected. Would defo recommend.

I chose this hotel because of it's price and relative proximity to the airport - so glad I did because I loved this experience! Set in the middle of the Brevnov Monastery - this is truly a unique hotel and the grounds are definitely worth an explore. Buffet breakfast was good (the room it was served in was gorgeous) and the onsite restaurant offered delicious options for dinner. Rooms were clean, on the large side (by European standards) and had everything I needed for a one night stay. I enjoyed the touches that showed you the age of the place - like the exposed beams in the ceiling. Not a fancy hotel, but a beautiful setting, lovely staff, and great experience.

This hotel is a little gem. It’s on the 22 tram line so connects you to all of the main places of interest. Rooms are comfortable, clean and the breakfast filling. There is a pub and brewery on site with Pilzen style larger and a very potent IPA. I didn’t get the chance to eat in the restaurant. All the staff are very welcoming and we all enjoyed our stay.

My granddaughter and I throughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Hotel Adelbert . Our room was very charming and after a long flight we found the monastery to be very relaxing. My only disappointment was that the church was closed and could only be toured by advance reservation.
I would definitely recommend a stay . We dined at the restaurant on the premises and it was terrific.

This place is great: comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast, unique, interesting, and inexpensive! Close (70m) to a train stop so you can access downtown easily. The restaurant on site is great with a good menu. Great place!

We stayed one night in a three bed room. The hotel is quite unike as it is is an old monastry. In our room there were wooden beems - very Nice. The beds were ok, an the bathroom as well. No luxury but well worrh the price we paid. The backyard had a beatiful garden that we could see from our room. The hotel reseptionist was very friendly. He made us welltasting breakfastpackages as we had to leave early for our flight. We had dinner at the restaurant on the premises. They served tradional food - very tasty! We would definitly come back here!

I stayed here in June 2007, and was expecting big things. My wife and I had visited Brevnov Monastery in late April; the trees were in bloom, and we had a lovely meal at the Klasterni senk restaurant. The Adalbert Hotel was part of the complex (apparently, the monastery rents it to a private company to run), and we thought, how even more lovely to stay here.

The existing reviews on Trip Advisor seemed like Adalbert was a safe bet and a lovely place, as we had imagined.

Oh, were we wrong.

The bed linens had not been changed (hair from a previous guest was all over the pillows and sheets); the bathroom not cleaned (used soap in the shower); and the floors hadn't seen a vacuum in some time. They also did not provide toiletries (unless you requested them). I had to beg for a new roll of toilet paper when the almost exhausted roll in the room ran out.

When I complained, I was told that "we have the cleanest hotel in Prague". Not.

When I paid for the bill, I was made fun of Czech by the staff at the desk. I guess they thought that I as an American am monolingual. Wrong -- Czech was my first language, and I understood EVERYTHING they said about me. And trust me, I cannot tell you what they said on a family-oriented website.

Oh, and did I mention that a room there runs about $180 a night?

Do yourself a favor, and don't stay at the Adalbert.

This hotel was a lucky strike! Initially I booked another hotel in another part of Prague. But then I found Adalbert and immediately decided that we need to book it!
First of all, let's start with location - in a quite neighborhood, right next to a beautiful cathedral and gorgeous park. Hotel has its own private parking (for free). Tram station is around 2-3 min walk away. It will take you around 7-10 minutes to reach Prague Castle (Czech: Pražský hrad) which is, honestly, my favorite part of the city :) It will take you a little more time to reach Old Town. Trams are nice and comfortable, so it's a pleasure to be riding around in them.
The hotel itself is quite small, but very nice and pretty. I loved the stairs and huge mirrors in front of them.
Room and bathroom are nice, clean and big enough.
We loved breakfast! I was surprised and happy to find a great selection of tea (and not packet one!). Everything is fresh and tasty.
Be sure to book a table at their restaurant (Monastery Tavern) - great food and one of the best beer we tried in Czech Republic! But it is important to book a table in advance as the restaurant is packed every evening.
All in all, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

The Hotel is located in a quiet district outside of the bustle of Prague itself yet within an easy tram ride of the city centre and the hotel will even sell you the tram tickets.
We found the hotel to be ideal for us with the very nice bonus of a good pub and bar within the grounds.
Highly recommended
