Stayed here for 3 nights in a double room, if it was made more clear from photos that these were very basic rooms (I honestly have stayed in better hostels for the price) then I would have paid that bit more for the nicer rooms. We managed to get an upgrade following our lack of sleep from a creaky, uncomfortable bed and a room which was opposite the lift which seemed to be in use throughout the night.
See the photos attached for the difference in standards of the rooms!
Other than that, the staff were very helpful, breakfast was tasty and the location we actually found really beneficial - restaurants are about half the price compared to in the city centre.

This is our 3rd visit, and Nabucco continues to be a very sweet and comfortable hotel. Very clean, and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious as always, even during COVID-19 restrictions. The staff is so very friendly and professional, always doing their best to make you feel welcome. The area has great restaurants and transportation to centrum is very easy. Very great hotel, also for families and pets :) thank you!

Booked hotel as it had spa advertised. We like to relax before or after hitting the city.
On arrival, no spa.
Everything else about hotel is great.
Hence 4 out of 5.
Staff looked after us brilliantly, room was clean, located just where we needed.

Stayed one night at the Nabucco hotel this week on a business trip. Staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice (actually surprisingly large, double room); albeit simple, but had all that you need, even a minibar with good prices. Breakfast was alright, nothing to moan about. The only drawback would be the noise - I had a room facing towards the railtrack, and there are plenty of trains going; you will still hear part of that noise even when the windows are closed. Still, I´d recommend this hotel especially if you´re looking for a budget choice.

Worst hotel of my life. Defenintly not a 4 stars hotel , maximum 2 ,don't look at the photos. Terrible and very unfriendly stuff , expecially the director, any idea how to work in hospitality. Very dirty everywhere , low prices food and poor fornitures in our room, basicly empty. Just got stressed in that place. Still cannot believe how they still working. Worst hotel's experience ever.

Response from Karolina K, General Manager at Hotel Nabucco

Dear Mrs. Gerusova, our hotel was blackmailed and threatened by your family. As every client can see, our hotel is specialized to satisfy everyone and our staff is trained to create family atmosphere to each of you. Our staff tried to make everything for you, also I dedicated Monica -concierge manager- to stay with you during your stay and help you with everything. She secured me that everything is perfect. After you called me that you want one more room, I gave you 50% discount for another room in our hotel, but you told me that you want another room gratis = FREE of charge or you will write BAD review on Tripadvisor!!! I will not give to any client room for free without any reason and also I didnt feel comfortable when you were blackmailing me, but also in this situation i take care about you. The reason that you wrote these three reviews for me is incomprehensible but if it makes you satisfaction? Ok, I m sure that our clients knows where is the true! With Regards, Ing. Karolína Krovová, Director of hotel Nabucco

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel at the beginning of September. The hotel is two minutes walk to the tramline and you can be in the centre of town in about 15-20 minutes. There are lots of little grocery shops and bars close by if you neede anything. The staff were always polite and helpful. Our room faced the trainline but I personally did not find the noise to be much of an issue. The breakfast was a continental style breakfast which was very nice and is it was included in the price of the room I fail to see what other people are complaining about! The room was large had high ceilings and was very bright and always clean although the toilet door was a glass panelled front door - wierd - but funny. We paid £120 to stay here for 4 nights and it represented excellent value for money, if I came back to prague I would stay here again. If you are expecting luxury for that money and based on it being 5 stars - which it isn't I woul advise you to book elsewhere however if you want a nice, clean cheap hotel with good links into the city I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel is tucked away down a little backstreet but not too far from the tram stop which takes you straight into the square. No trouble at all. Room was comfortable and great value for money. Staff were quite helpful when we needed to make a phone call in case we needed a translator. Reasonable choice at breakfast too, and we even made a small sandwich to take with us for luch. Unfortunately hotel restaurant was being refurbished so didnt get a chance to sample dinner. But overall was good comfortable hotel, away from the often loud square.

We stayed two times in this hotel (June 2010, May 2011). This is more *** then **** but it's good choice for price level EUR 50..65 (double room). Rooms are spacious and clean, with simple furniture. Don't expect too much from breakfast. Stuff is freandly and helpful. There is a tram station (approx. 15 minutes to the city centre), foodstore, drugstore, bank office and a perfect Chezh restaurant (best "veprovy rebra" = boar ribs in Prague) near the hotel. We parked our car outside the hotel without any problems.

Many of the items I wanted to highlight have already been covered, however it is a great Hotel for Families/Tourists, down a cobblestone side street yet close to several trams stops which leaves you 10 minutes from the city center. Staff is super friendly and helpful which in Prague is a big plus.
Breakfast is good and served in a bright mezzanine atrium. AS you tend to find in Central Europe, pastry and breads are excellent.
My room was located at the end of the dark hall off the staircase and I had to climb up a stair inside my door to get to my room. Bathroom very nice with (what I hoped was) a bidet. Room itself was sparsely furnished bu well maintained and very well cleaned. The trains may bother some guests, however they very rarely blew their horns. I was more bothered by noisy residents of the neighborhood .

Hi Helen,
Sorry for late reply. I think there was a kettle etc...better check with the hotel as I haven't been for 10 months

Hampshire, United Kingdom24 contributions24 helpful votesHow far away is the hotel from the main sites? Is the public transport nearby?
The hotel is about a 20 minute tram ride from the centre but don’t let that put you off. The tram is only a few minutes walk and very reliable and cheap. There is also a fantastic local brewery and restaurant that does authentic Local food which is cheap. The staff at the hotel are very good and helpful. The hotel is very nice and there is a bar which is cheap for an hotel. I would stay in this hotel again without hesitation.

The various trams are at the end of the road to all main sites. 10/15 minute ride and quite frequent . Or about 30/40 mins walk to old town square
yes I would think you could book in as they had a 24 hour reception
Get the No 11 tram to Náměstí Bratří Synků.
Its further than you think but worth the effort
