Detailed Reviews
I booked 3 single rooms for 2 nights and when we arrived one room was upgraded (no extra costs) so i had the comfort of an apartment with 5 beds (that was quite nice haha). Even when the hotel is not located in the old town centre it was easy to take a tram from there (100m away) for a very cheap price which was about 1€ per half an hour or 1,50€/90min.
But before we started our trip through the city we checked in at ~12 o`clock so 2 hours before the actual check-in and the friendly young man from the reception informed us about the possibilities the hotel offers, breakfast time, parking and last but not least he told us about the easiest way to come from a to be, where to go and where better not. He was so friendly and kind that we met him again after work and went to "Náplavka". It is a beautfiul place close to the river - make sure to go there when you come to Prague.
Back at the hotel i had some really good sleep because the hotel is located on a side road so it was a silent place, good for recovery after a long day.
The apartment was clean, there were enough towels, two big wardrobes and a few smaller bed side cabinets, a TV (also with some german and international channels), free WIFI, a big bathroom and so on.
The breakfast was a 3,5 / 5 to me. You have different offers from salads, different sorts of bread, cereals, cuts (cheese, ham,...), hard eggs, fruits but no scrambled eggs unfortunately. Anyway it fullfils the typical intercontinental standards (but don`t expect things like baked beans, bacon or other brunch food) and my tummy was happy in the end.
To me it is a nice place with a good cost effectiveness and most of all with a friendly and helpful team - good service!
A special thanks goes to Ondřej from the reception for being an excellent city guide and a good friend. Thanks for taking me to Náplavka and introducing me to all these nice people!
I will come round for another visit.

I went on a vacation with my girlfriend and looked at a lot of different hotels in the area - we weren't let down at all by choosing this hotel! Check-in was super easy and check out was really quick too! It's conveniently located close to everything. It includes free quality breakfast which saves time when your busy trying the do so many things in one day. The front staff is very helpful, Alena went beyond giving us tips and suggestions as we were first timers in Prague. We will definitely be back!

Room was very spacious and clean. The beds and chair
were very soft and comfortable. Also, the hotel has free private parking in their courtyard.Parking places are surrounded by a fence and video cameras are turn on. The location is great, as well.Near the hotel there is a tram station so you can catch tram number 6 to be in the old town within around 15-20 minutes.
If you want to visit Prague Castle catch tram number 12.It has the same stop as 6.The breakfasts were really delicious and offered wide range of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hope this review helps.

The worst hotel in my life. There was an invasion of insects, we couldn’t finish killing some that more were coming, it was disgusting. The towels were dirty and the room was only cleaned once. When we asked to have fresh coffee cups they gave us chocolate expired 2 years earlier. The receptionist on Sunday evening was extremely rude when we spoke to her. My partner had a allergic reaction for the entire stay due to the dirt in the room. The breakfast was terrible, for celiac people were offered only plain bread, nothing to put on. In the last hour only leftover and both me and my partner had a terrible indigestion because of the breakfast… The pictures are a scam because they absolutely don’t correspond to the hotel and the position was very far away from the center.

The room was spacious and equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, toiletries and a portable fan. There were many savoury and sweet options to choose from on the breakfast buffet, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. They also offered lactose free and gluten free options for breakfast, which was nice. We arrived by car and the parking was free for the duration of our stay. The hotel is located in a calm area outside the old town, but the tram was convenient and runs frequently from a stop nearby the hotel. We recommend this hotel. :)

+1
I made a last minute decision to make a last minute reservation on a Thursday night for a Friday night. Check-in, the outcome has been fabulous! I paid in advance for a few free amenities with my room reservation and got more than I could ever have expected or anticipated.
Bohdana checked us in and made sure that we understood all that our reservation covered. She assisted with our bags, presented us with complimentary champagne, for our room and at the bar. When she escorted us to our room more complimentary goodies were waiting for us.
Our room included free parking, spa fitness amenities, and wifi...and amazing breakfast buffet was a culinary treat with so many options.
Great boutique hotel with extremely hospitable staff. The location being within the city center makes The Colorfactory quiet, convenient, affordable option when visiting Prague, CZ.

The hotel is very clean, tidy and well furnished. You can find here also small kitchen with fridge, where you can keep your food. Employees on the reception were amazing, still smiling and very willing. Our hotel visit included also breakfast which was really good because of large selection of served dishes particularly.

I believe that the hotel deserves its 4-star rating:
Accommodation
I got a relatively nice, clean room at a very reasonable price. It didn’t feel particularly stuffy or difficult to breathe in the room. If, like me, you’ve seen Instagram reels by seb.fencl showing rooms in 5-star hotels like the Hilton, Four Seasons, or the one in Hamburg, I’d say that the layout and space are comparable, and you don’t need to spend significantly more for 5 stars.
Breakfast
The breakfast is tasty, and I didn’t find any issue with getting enough to eat or finding something I liked. The breakfast is a classic American style (eggs, pancakes, sausages...).
Surroundings
Let’s be honest, Holešovice isn’t the most beautiful part of Prague. So, expect a view of brutalist buildings rather than Prague Castle. However, I’d rate the accessibility quite positively. There’s a tram stop about 100 meters from the hotel, and from there, you can easily get to the metro and then anywhere in Prague.
Spa
To say this is a spa hotel might be a bit of a stretch. However, the hotel does have a jacuzzi, sauna, and a relaxation area. You need to register at the reception to enter, and the jacuzzi can accommodate a maximum of 6-8 people. I rate this service positively, and it’s probably the reason I chose this hotel compared to others.
Service - Staff
The cleaning staff came every day, and their work was excellent. The reception staff were very professional, kind, and welcoming. I’ve visited many hotels of a similar level, but here I would say the staff's care for a smooth stay is among the best. It’s easy to get used to such a standard, but hard to forget.

The hotel and staff surprised us positively and exceeded our expectations...The reception was very nice, accommodating and extremely attentive. Here there was a musical accompaniment with piano that evening. At the reception there was also a welcome drink in the restaurant, as well as a voucher for the Panorama Cafe in town. As a welcome gift we had a bottle of wine and water in the room. A city map and information about it with a Prague pass was very helpful! The rooms are excellently distributed for families. We had four of us an apartment which was separated into rooms with door. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired! We booked the wellness area for one hour. Here, perhaps more would be desirable such as warmer water in the hot tub or clean water in front of the sauna area or natural masks etc. However, this would be complaining at a high level. The rooms as well as the spa were clean. In the entrance area there are chess tables as well as a room with foosball table. On leaving we additionally got a small bottle of water etc. for everyone.
We will come back!

We were only there for two days but we enjoyed our stay very much.
Quite clean hotel located not far from the center. You can get there quickly by public transport. Everything you need can be asked at the reception. They always give you where to go and what to eat.
The breakfast was varied and tasty. The people who were responsible for the work during breakfast hours took care of the freshness and cleanliness.
Next to the hotel you will find a Czech restaurant with beer and various shops.
In general, we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back.

NewcastleResident asked a question Sep 2023
Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom10 contributions1 helpful voteIt says "Double or Twin" but there is no way to specify which one on the website?
The train (metro) is around 10 minutes depending on age of kids.
We were given no info from reception about trams which I believe are close by and take 10/15 mins to get in.
Ps - the metro is 2 stops and your in town centre (or very close to it) and cost about 41p per journey
"- Your luggage can be stored in luggage room before the check-in. - You can book a private wellness. I recommend to do it in advance."Read full review
