Akcent hotel is a modern 3-star budget hotel with a friendly atmosphere located on the 7th floor of a 1930s Functionalist-style office building and can boast splendid views of Prague from all 53 rooms. The hotel is situated in the heart of Smichov quarter, just a 3 minute walk from one of Prague's major commercial and entertainment zones, where two big shopping malls Novy Smichov and Zlaty Andel are to be found. Guests highly value the hotel's location also for easy and quick connections to the centre of Prague. With an entrance to the Andel subway station right outside hotel front door, and several tram line stops nearby, the entire historical centre of the "City of Hundred Spires" is just 5 minutes away, while picturesque Lesser Town, park Kampa and Petrin Hill is only a 20 minute walk. Not far is also river Vltava and Vysehrad Castle. Hotel's location is also very convenient for tourists coming for Prague Beer Tour as Staropramen brewery is in surroundings.

I've been there the second time and all was fine again. Perfect location, Metro, bus, tram, all in front of the entrance; rooms are very clean and bathrooms seem to be new. Since the rooms are on the 6th floor, you have a nice view and a balcony. Personnel is friendly and helpful. I will go there again.

I stayed here for 7 nights in September. I was very happy with my choice. The location is excellent with the metro, trams and even bus station right out the door. I went to Cesky Krumlov one day and literally walked across the street to get on the bus. You arrive to the centre in minutes using the metro outside the door. There is a shopping mall just a short walk away as well. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I had questions for them most days and I was always given directions. My room was quite large with a nice wrap around balcony. I also enjoyed their breakfast. There were plenty of items to choose from. I would definitely return again.

· Location was terrific. The Metro station (subway-underground) was right outside the hotel as well as a local and regional bus station plus tram lines 7 and 21. I had an executive room which was a corner room with a huge wraparound balcony. The washroom was large and extremely clean and had a large shower area with both hand held and rain-shower units. Coffee/tea making was there with a kettle and a drum device which I did not use. Friendly and helpful staff. A number of restaurants are within walking distance and it felt safe walking back to the hotel in the dark. Breakfast was plentiful but would have liked to see more fresh fruit

The worst hotel I've ever stayed. Something happened on my room sudently I was filled with flea bites. The breakfast is poor. The desk manager has troubles speaking in english. I don't recommend this hotel. The only good thing is the location. PS: The building has a casino inside, so you have a lot of noise. During my stay I've only seen staff on the frontdesk and during breakfast.

First the cons, negative sides, as these might effect your decision. Curtains are not big enough to cover the windows. One side of the room is completely glass (and front is the balcony), and you may not get the room dark, at gets bright in the morning. Pillows are very uncomfortable and there were only one kind of them. Mini bar is set to 15C, it does not cool anything, there is no ice in the hotel too. I do not know how they may sell a beer from the mini bar, it is 15C, assume there is no minibar or fridge in the room. And the pros, Location of the hotel is great, very easy to reach city center room is large, very large bathroom is comfortable, modern and clean, the best thing in the hotel Wifi is reliable and fast Breakfast is delicious

I totally recommend this hotel in Prague. The best thing is that it’s close to every tourist attraction, which you can reach by taking public transportation (metro & bus stops are right in front of the hotel). My room was spacious, very clean, modern and had also a terrace with a view over the city! The staff speaks English well; they are professional and available for anything. Breakfast is good too. If I’ll ever come back to Prague I’ll definitely book another room here, since it’s also not too expensive.

The hotel is located a stone throw away from bus, tram and metro stations. There are lots of great cafe's and restaurants nearby. The room itself was very spacious with a Balcony. The breakfast was decent with a couple of changes everyday. The staff was friendly and we did not have any complaints.

The hotel is in a good location next to the metro underground (depends which exit you leave) rooms are spacious and bathroom is very modern. To get into central main town takes only 15mins and very easy to use. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel - I would personally recommend Lokalblok restaurant it’s 5mins walk and one of the best in the area.

the hotel advice was to use a change-money on the near underground but the exchange rate is really unfair. i trusted them and i have changed the eur for 16 korun bur the really exchange is 25 korum. really upset
