A 15 minute walk away from the Old Town, Miss Sophie's Hotel was a perfect choice for us. The staff were really friendly, and the basic room was very clean & comfortable with free wi-fi. Breakfast is taken across the small street at Miss Sophie's Hostel, and was excellent value. There is a tram stop very close by, which connects... More

This is a fantastic location and hotel. The staff is super friendly -- they showed us a map of the city, answered all our questions, and even provided a gift basket with the room with champagne and chocolate. The rooms are also very stylish and the beds are comfortable. There is breakfast served across the street at the hostel. Easy... More

Stayed in the hostel (which is just opposite Miss Sophie's Hotel) and had a great stay. Clean rooms and amazing en-suites. Really helpful staff and excellent all you can eat breakfast put on every morning. Close enough to walk to all the attractions of Prague but not stuck somewhere busy. 5/5.

This place was absolutely spotless and designed beautifully. Location was super convenient. Far enough from the craziness but close enough when you wanted a bit of the action! Staff was beyond wonderful. Great find!

Spent 5 nights here in a dorm. The beds were comfy, shared bathrooms were quite clean. Staff were friendly and helpful with planning my days as it was my first time in Prague. This was not a hostel for party-goers - everyone was back in the dorm before midnight. The shared kitchen was clean and had all the facilities for... More

I was in Prague for a business trip. Located on the last floor, the room had a personal touch to it including a hand written personalized welcome letter! Breakfast was very good!! Overall an excellent hotel with excellent service... One small quirk though.. The water temperature of the shower was varying wildly and was non constant... going from cold to... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my 21st and we were not disappointed! In a great location 2 mins from the metro and 15 mins from the old town we couldn't have asked for a better start for beginners in Prague. The hotel itself was really nice and had a boutique consistent style throughout, the staff were very helpful... More

An excellent example of bohemian chic without compromising on a high standard of quality. The hotel has a strong individualist ethic which is refected in the quirky decor. It has an easy charm which is reflected by the attitude of the staff: who are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They also know their stuff. The info they have is upto date... More

Stayed here for just one night in really attractive room with lovely personalised touches. Each room had a lovely welcome basket with prosecco and snacks. There was a lovely little garden area downstairs at reception too. They offer an excellent airport shuttle bus service which meant all 5 of us could travel back to the airport together. They were even... More

Stayed at Miss Sophie's Hotel with friends in April 2016 on a recommendation, and it really enhanced our trip to Prague. As first time visitors to the city we very quickly became accustomed to our surroundings thanks to the location of the hotel, which is within walking distance to the Old Town Square and also situated nearby Prague's excellent metro... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
