This is a beautiful property close to Prague castle and Charles Bridge. The staff were very accommodating and helped book numerous dinners and outings for us. Only point to note is that the US consulate is next door so any taxi ride to the property is checked by police which is a minor inconvenience.

We stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were overwhelmed by the beauty and the high standards of this fantastic hotel. As you walk into the courtyard on arrival your breath is taken away by the splendour of this unique hotel. We were greeted most warmly by the reception staff and given a glass of... More

Great service Wonderful spa and great breakfasts. Rooms were beautiful but felt mattresses and pillows could be improved. Great location and staff were exceptionally helpful. All in all a great place to stay!

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful weekend. Right from the start it was clear that the staff were professionals, and more importantly they genuinely took pride in their work. This makes all the difference, in any establishment. Hot towels offered greeted us when we arrived, as well as a welcome glass of Czech sparkling wine. We... More

I didn't stay at the hotel but we booked the Fairytale afternoon package at the spa and it was incredible. Everything was beautiful and magical from the moment we walked into the spa area. The hostess was amazing and explained everything to us, I would highly recommend couples to go! We started off with some bubbly and a fresh fruit... More

My friend and I went for The Fairytale Afternoon and it certainly was. This place just oozes charm and the staff are excellent. We even added on a facial treatment and the staff were happy to accommodate extra treatments all of which I arranged via email. They responded promptly to any questions I had and nothing was too much trouble.... More

travelling with two daughters we opted for the family room as the description on the site , but it is very disapointing. the room in the upper floor is acessible by a narrow and steep stair and the room has NO door. also the windows are on the roof and the one over the bed has a transparent draper so... I recently enjoyed a short break in Prague with my wife and we chose this hotel above many cheaper, simpler options as a special treat to ourselves. It more than lived up to our expectations. DECOR - The decor is very elaborate and ornate, in a somewhat baroque style. It suits the age of the buildings that make up the... More

Loved this hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff, from check in all the way to check out. Had a family suite. Nice to have a little separation. Totally recommend. Took advantage of their fairytale afternoon package. A 90 minute massage, relaxation time in the spa with a lovely fruit plate and sparkling wine followed by a very good 3 course... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
