Great food and great service. Had a delicious croque monsiuer and French omelette. Nespresso coffee was lovely and the fresh bread was delicious- complimentary too! The croissants and jam that were in the breadbasket were not however - that was a bit cheeky, but they were delicious and we were given some free fruit which was lovely!

Very charming hotel in an ideal location - you cannot be any closer to the Charles Bridge, and are within walking distance of most sights. Our room was stunning, with all the comforts that one could ask for (including a Nespresso machine). The staff are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Additionally, we really enjoyed our meals in the Cafe La...

This was a magical hotel with a great location right by the Charles bridge . The staff at the front desk, restaurant and bar were excellent and made our stay more special. We loved the courtyard and the cigar room too!

I celebrated my birthday week and graduation trip in Central Europe starting here at the Pachtuv Palace in Prague, CZ in December 2016. The staff immediately treated me to a special stay in the Mozart Suite of the Palace. They didn't know this was a special trip for me, but I felt like a VIP our whole stay. The room...

Located less than a minute walk to the Charles Bridge and having by far the best hotel and restaurant staff that I've ever encountered. The only things that I can really say are that: 1. I'll be back without a doubt! 2. If you book a room their, then you have secured the best lodgings in all of Prague. 3....

For us location is everything and this one could not be beat. Located very close to the Charles Bridge, the Pachtuv Palace is a charming and very comfortable hotel in an historic building (Mozart was a guest). Our room was huge with a very big and modern bath. We had a gorgeous view of the Charles Bridge and the castle....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
