We were 2 adults who were at the hotel 7/8 January 2023. Room was nice enough and clean, but we didn't have hot water so it was impossible to have a shower. I spoke to the staff at the reception, they were nice enough but they said that the person who can fix the problem does not work at the weekend and will not come until Monday 9 January.
The room itself was a nice size for two people, and fitted our needs perfectly. It was very clean, and the bed was squishy ! The bathroom was okay, the shower was like a pressure washer, and was very low down! Not good for tall people! The loo roll is also very thin ! Only issue I had with the room, was they only made half the bed, and emptied the bins. My side of the bed was never made up, and the sheets & towels wasn’t changed the whole week we was there (even though it states they change every 3 days). Breakfast was pointless, I wouldn’t recommend, it was a buffet style however there was a lack of choice, 3 different bread rolls (brought from a supermarket), 3 hot choices, 1 Jam choice, 1 ham or 1 cheese. Coffee is Nescafé Instant (crème). Check in/Receptionist staff was amazing, and was extremely friendly. Any questions or concerns they did there best to answer them. One teeny tiny criticism I have, is before we flew, I tried to message the hotel about the airport transfer, and never got a response. Had to ring them with my questions a day before the flight. Overall, the hotel is beautifully located, next to the national museum, Tram lines (22 - goes just outside and seems to go everywhere), Metro (I.P Pavaola) Great Restaurants. There’s also a great coffee place just around the corner!…
Great hotel, close to the main square, one and half kilometres away from the old town. The room is small, but nice. There is a television ( I was annoyed that I only had news channels) and free WiFi. All in all, I quite like it and I especially like that they have a bathtub.
This hotel is a gem (especially if you stay at front of hotel). Yes there is traffic noise - it's slap bang in the centre of a city, what would you expect???. The rooms are clean, large and well maintained. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. It's location is fantastic as very close to I P Pavlova metro and tram stations. We've stayed here numerous times and never been disappointed. For the price you couldn't do better anywhere in the city. 👏👏👏
I came back to this hotel because I had found myself very well, in the pre pandemic period, but now it is terrible, female front staff gruff, non-existent services broken shower stalls, broken sinks, etc .... They handed us the room around 15:00 and left us without power for the whole day arrived in the evening I went down to the reception for yet another reminder and the girl at the Front replies that she does not understand Italian, logically I had asked in English. Conclusion I had to raise my voice to be assigned a room with the electricity working and I was assigned a room with the bathroom in pieces
I really have good memories from staying here. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful with directions and answering questions. I loved the location around the corner from the tram and a great vegan bistro restaurant. A good breakfast was included.
This was our second time staying at this hotel in three months, having been here for the Christmas markets in December 2019. It probably says it all that we had no hesitation in coming back, as the hotel is ideally situated for the Old Town, being around 5 minutes walk from the top of Wenceslas Square and both Museum and I.P. Pavolva metro stations mere minutes away. The close proximity of Museum metro station makes it easy to get to from the airport. The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was plentiful, with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages supplementing the usual continental breakfast fare. All in all, a great little hotel in a beautiful city and we will certainly return.
I stayed here in October 2018 with my three friends, hotel was lovely , but just a tad far out , maybe a 25 to 30 minute walk to the centre, rooms were cleaned every day , and hotel was spotless. Breakfast was just okay not much choice. Done the boat tour and it was fab definitely try it.
We spent 2 nights here during our weekend in Prague and were very comfortable during that time. The hotel is located around 10 minutes walk away from the Old Town Square and has many restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk (we had some very good meals in places within the Namesti Miru area). Hotel is very clean and our room was huge- so much space and almost everything you could need was provided (no tea making facilities in the room which would have been nice). There is a reasonably priced minibar in the room with soft drinks, water and various alcohols. Breakfast is served from 7.30-10.30 each morning and has your usual continental selection as well as a few hot options. I really enjoyed the coffee. Not the most modern hotel I’ve stayed in but I honestly cannot fault it for the price we paid, it’s location and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay again. Thank you for a comfortable stay! …
The location is perfect, being around 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square, 2 minutes from the metro station and 10 minutes from the main train station. Staff were friendly and efficient, room was clean and breakfast plentiful, with 2 hot offerings (scrambled eggs and 1 other), along with the normal continental fare. We stayed for 5 nights and found that everywhere we wanted to go - up to as far as the castle - was easily within walking distance of the hotel. Namesti Miru Christmas market is just around the corner, whilst the others are a short stroll in the other direction. All in all, a great little break in a magical setting to get you in the Christmas spirit. Perfect.
