I was picked up at the airport as prearranged before hand by the wonderful Mr. Duldash,a young man with fantastic hosting skills that helped me through my entire stay.He speaks fluently Czech and Russian as well as very good English. Without him I would have been lost and my trip may be only half good. My room # 13 has a pretty view, very quiet and a nice modern bathroom with stall shower.Fluffy towels and crisp bed linens. Breakfast always very abundant with delicious cold cuts, assorted bread, good cereals, fruits, sweet cakes or donuts and good tasty coffee and teas. The food in the restaurant is great, sort of what you would eat in a typical Czech home. I loved the chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes, home made soups and crisp fresh salads. Everybody I came in contact in the hotel was extremely pleasant and willing to help. Although the location is away from the noisy crowded expensive center of Prague the peace and quiet of the area and affordable rates make this hotel a great place to stay. Very good for families with children but since it doesn't have a lift not so good for handicapped people. Trains run about a hundred feet away with an station right there out of view from the hotel and you can be in the center of town in about 15 to 20 minutes.A taxi ride is very inexpensive and much quicker. Beware of taxi drivers, they love to overcharge tourist! Have the hotel call AAA Taxi with a preset fare price ( add the tip if you like him of course). The entire hotel has been freshly painted and has a pub at the entrance where smoking is allowed (and believe me, smoking is rampant in central Europe even in most restaurants and public areas. This hotel offers smoke free rooms thankfully. I will return in August or September when the weather is much nicer..

I was picked up at the Airport as prearranged via email and taken to the hotel by a very friendly kind and accommodating young man by the name of Juldash. He made my stay so much better by facilitating my every question or problem I might have had.The rest of the staff was equally helpful and kind. I had a large room for 2 for single use very comfortable and clean besides quiet and warmly decorated ( just like home ). Modern bathroom with shower fluffy towels and plenty of heat. Breakfast was very good with all kind of breads, donuts, cold cuts, cereals, delicious coffee or tea, eggs and sausages as well as yogurts fresh fruits and ham and eggs freshly prepared in the hotel's kitchens. The hotel is been refurbished in the outside but maintains the old world charm of a bygone era. Not a fuzzy or stuck up place very well priced and across the street from the train station a few stops from the center of Prague.Several bus lines service the immediate area to malls and other attractions. Great for families or business travelers on a budget. The hotel huge main hall is usually booked for large parties, conventions, weddings, shows and business meetings. A pub style bar at the entrance offers plenty of choices for drinkers ( and smokers). The rest of the hotels hallways rooms and stairs luckily are smoke free. Wifi available everywhere.

It's a bit far from the city centre, but if you have a car it's okay! They have a free parking by the way. The rooms are decent, but not really stylish or anything. There is a playground and a lot of kids so it's a fantastic hotel for families with children. The breakfast was really nice. Overall, it's not a splendid hotel, but a decent one.

A good hotel for a city trip! The rooms and beds are comfortable. The staff is busy, but mostly friendly. There is an parking place and a good connection to the city of Prague. The breakfast is tasty with a good coffee and even fresh fruits. In the evening you can have a beer in the hotel's pub or patio. The restaurant offers tasty dishes for a low price.
