We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed our time! ARCO is a nice, quiet place with only a few rooms. Decent location, not too far from points of interest, a few cool restaurants close by as well. ARCO's greatest asset is Guenther! He is very helpful and kind. Use his knowledge of the city!!

We are extremely satisfied with the quality of our stay at the ARCO Guesthouse. First of all Guenther is very helpful and full of knowledge about Prague, which made our stay very pleasant. We had problems with our flight to Prague and Guenther helped us out by informing us very well about our possibilities. The room was clean and the... More

Guenther is an amazing host, friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. His love for Prague and knowledge of the city's history and culture are impressive, which made everyday's breakfast extra-enjoyable as it felt like an interesting history learning series. Each morning I would ask him for advice on what to see, where to eat and... More

It was a wonderful stay at ARCO guesthouse. Everything was exactly as described. Room was clean and was equipped with all amenities required. Location is just perfect with direct trams to the city center. Guenther was very helpful and kind. He even gave a small surprise as it was my birthday. The breakfast he laid out was awesome and he... Our stay at Arco Guesthouse was a pleasant surprise for us and the absolute highlight of our trip. On arrival we immediately experienced the cordial atmosphere that was given to the hotel. A hotel which focuses on history and culture, was something we were looking for. We enjoyed our conversations with Gunter (one of the hosts) and also our walking... More

Comfortable bed and clean room; accommodations with great amenities - hot water pot, microwave, small refrigerator, a few dishes, and a WIFI that worked! Guenther (the host) was the commensurate host offering assistance in a kind and effective way. Breakfast was a nice combination of meat, cheeses, bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juices and coffee/tea. Convenient to the city center and... More

It was within our budget and on reading the reviews and the description, what attracted us further was the information we could get on history & culture. ARCO accepted our... More

Gunther the host was very friendly and welcoming, he has a wide knowledge of Prague history. Although just out of town in Donska the number 22 tram stops100yds from the Arco, it takes you through the new/old town all the way to Prague castle. We would definitely stay at the Arco again.

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
