My girlfriend and I stayed over Christmas for 5 days and couldn't have found a better hotel. The location was great and in a lively area. The room was very clean and wam. It was also surprisingly spacious. The best part was that the staff...More

Excellent location very close to the astronomical clock which is well worth watching. The hotel room was very spacious and clean as was the bathroom although there was only a shower, no bath. Breakfasts were good and if anything ran out you only had to...More
Loved this hotel in building built in1366! Just a short block from the Old Town Square, the location could not be any better for sightseeing on foot in Prague. While the room was extremely large, it was lacking in a few things--no alarm clock, no...More

One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the
modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

We Travelled by coach as part of euro trip couldn't tell the distance from airport to hotel however hotel rates are included below. I prefer to book a taxi myself which could be cheaper. Usually Trams are the best and quickest mode of transport in Prague you can purchase a timed ticket which is pretty cheap (usually 20CZK for 30 minutes and so on) and travel unlimited within that time , we preferred walking to get the best of the Prague architecture and culture, breakfast usually costs €6 euro per person in the hotel. A 3 course meal in a traditional restaurant in central Prague for 2 people costs around 800-1000 CZK I'm including the prices we were given by hotel for transport but just as a reference these prices could have changed . Please check with hotel.
From the airport:
▪ 600,-CZK ( 24,-EUR ) for 1-2 people
▪ 650,-CZK ( 26,-EUR ) for 3-4 people
▪ 950,-CZK ( 40,-EUR ) for 5-8 people
From the railway station or bus station:
▪ 450,-CZK ( 18,-EUR ) for 1-2 people
▪ 480,-CZK ( 19,-EUR ) for 3-4 people
▪ 700,-CZK ( 28,-EUR ) for 5-8 people

"Try to see your room ahead of time. The ones directly off the courtyard are not as nice."
