The only reason this hotel gets one point is because of the location. My sister and her family recommended this hotel to my husband and I, as they've stayed here many times in the past, and absolutely loved it. Since their last visit, however, the staff has changed, and the current manager, a woman named Kate, could not have been... More

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The location could not be better. The staff went above a beyond to accomodate my friend and I for the 5 nights we stayed. We asked for two beds (Travelocity booked us in a double room) and they upgraded us to a suite. Breakfast was excellent - a perfect combination of American and Czech... More

I had the most amazing experience at the Hotel. The people at the reception were so good to me that my fear of being alone in a new city vanished. They helped me setting up my local tours and were extremely nice. The dining room experience was not so nice as I think couple of waiters were unfriendly to me.... More

We have enjoyed from an amazing vacation, and a lot of it was thanks to the hotel. Great breakfast, wonderful location and one of the best treatments we have ever gotten from a staff... In conclusion. The best hotel I have ever stayed in so far.

We had occasion to spend a weekend in Prague (never a bad thing!) and decided to upgrade to a suite. The decision was not regretted; ours was a spacious, and quiet, room with beautifully painted wooden beams. The bed was firm; and the pillows plenty and comforting. The linens were ample and fresh; though, there were no hooks or bars... More

Spent 3 nights here and would stay again. A bit quirky, but most hotels and guest houses in old town Prague would be quirky and odd, just because of the buildings, locations and limitations, so I won't hold that against it. Our room was large and had everything we wanted except a window! To be fair, there was one in... More

We chose this hotel for a week long trip to Prague in November. It was an amazing stay. The hotel has a very unique charm with its mixture of old and new elements, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and polite and I have never slept in a cleaner room. Overall an amazing experience and definitely not the last time... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel over New Year. The location is great with a couple of really good little restaurants directly opposite and minutes walk to the old town square. We had breakfast the first morning in the breakfast room, which was very disorganised and the waiters were not in the least bit friendly. The next couple of... More

We chose this hotel because of its location being close to the old town square and the offer of a suite of rooms for th price you might easily pay for a double room. The suite comprised a large reception room with couch, TV and en-suite facility, an even larger bedroom with a super king sized bed and very comfortable... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
