Very noisy from inside and outside of the hotel. You can hear the next guest when he is talking even when he is sleeping. a lot of noise in the corridors from the cleaners. very small and missing menu in the restaurant Needs a renovation immediately in all aspects .
The rooms were clean and the rate was pretty good. The breakfast was delicious. A lot of body language but it got the job done. Hotel is really nice and there is a bus that take you directly to the town center.
A solid airport hotel - no more, no less. A bit dated but taken good care of and scrubbed clean both in the room and in hallways. The standard room is quite spacious, with a large king-size bed and excellent mattresses; pillows are firmer than in most hotels these days. Nice view of the tarmac from a large room window. Clean, quiet, with everything for comfortable sleep - what else to want from an airport hotel? Actually, there is more: (1) wifi is fast - I used it for a Zoom conference without any problem; (2) staff is professional, polite and speak very good English. We were quickly accommodated 1.5 hours before the official check-in time. The room was somewhat cold: I rang the reception, and an employee (Petr) appeared at the door literally within 2 minutes to adjust the heat. Free transfer to the airport was organised within minutes (thanks to Marek and Petr); (3) free parking behind the hotel. Even without a car, it' easy to hop to Prague: a bus stop is within 100 m of the hotel, and the bus reaches the nearest metro station after only 4 stops. All in all, an excellent option if you need to stay at the airport. Ramada is the cheapest of the three hotels at the Vaclav Havel Airport because it is located next to Terminal 3 (used for private flights only). Reaching passenger Terminals 1 and 2 on foot (let alone with luggage) is a not an option but a free shuttle transfer arranged by the hotel solves the problem. Can't comment on the breakfast as we skipped it.…
The hotel chocie was linked to an early flight the day after. However, the condition of the hotel itself shows a poor maintenance, with works during the night (noisy!!!) and bath room dirty and facilities broken... To forget
We had a stopover in Prague from Krakow to Munich and this hotel was right at the airport and was super. Clean and quiet room. Breakfast buffet. Free hotel shuttle to and from terminals. Restaurant on site for dinner (Breakfast is free but dinner is not). It was the perfect place to stay overnight without going all the way into Prague proper.
No problems encountered with this hotel. Room was good, beds were fine, bathroom was good. Staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and small bar down stairs from reception area, evening menu not excessive but food was good. Breakfast adequate for this type of hotel. A few tips to note, firstly this hotel is adjacent to terminal 3, some distance from main arrivals at Terminal 1 or 2. Go to information desk and they will give you a tel number to ring hotel for a pick up by shuttle van. If onward travelling into Prague go into terminal 3 building and purchase a ticket for bus and metro. You can get a ticket for 1 hours travelling or longer periods, machine can be read in English. Take bus 119 or 100 to end of route then use metro system into city. Quite easy to navigate system…
I guess I should have researched more carefully, but this hotel is not walkable with luggage. It's a good few miles on the other side of the airport. Luckily the hotel operates a courtesy minibus. Reception staff were very good. Room clean and all you would expect. Downside was a very hard mattress. No USB points. Breakfast was ok for the price. It's an airport hotel, for short/overnight stay
The shuttle bus was excellent, only 5 minutes to come there. The girl in the reception was very helpful and smiling, thanks Ana to explain how to get to the city center and give us a room after reconstruction. Of course stay again!
The beds are horrible, like sleeping on a table. The thermostat was broken so I only had ON or OFF, and when ON the fan is very noisy. It all made for an uncomfortable night. Holes in the sheets. Hallway smells like 30 years of smokers. Almost no parking. Nobody at the desk when I arrived so I stood around for 5 minutes. The cleaning lady threw away the paperwork I left on the desk. I was locked out and had to wait for a manager off-site to come change the batteries in the door. That was after waiting again at the front desk because again nobody there. I was rudely awoken at 08:30 by heavy construction in the room next to mine. Most hotels wait until at least 10 AM. So, up late, no quiet place to sleep or work, I will now travel angry on 6 hours sleep. The breakfast buffet is excellent, so is dinne. It is not enough to reedeem this cheap, mismanaged hell. I give this barely 3-star hotel 0 stars.…
So yes, it is “technically” as per front staff still an airport hotel, with key word being technically - it is almost on airport premises and close to terminal 3 (no airline flies from here) and 10 mins from terminal 1/2 where all flights are locates and 10 mins from much nicer and pleasant downtown Prague hotels. My bad, should have checked Google map rather than believing misleading statements on their web site
