Stayed here in May for a long weekend whilst sight seeing in Prague, we were over the other side of the bridge which was much quieter and more cost effective. 5 mins along the river took us to the bridge and the buzz of Prague. Breakfast was adequate and it was a shame there were no restaurant as such for... More

I booked this hotel straight from their own website as it was cheaper than any other way of booking it. We also took advantage of their airport pick up service and early check in as they were such reasonable prices and the airport pick up made our arrival in Prague completely stress free. We were warmly welcomed at the reception... More

We chose the hotel as it wasn't too far from the centre. Rooms were spacious although decor was sparse, it was very clean and certainly adequate. A great shower and the service was very good, the bar prices were reasonable. Also a good breakfast. Some really good local bars and restaurants very near by too. Would come back to this... More

A nice situated hotel, not a noisy area, accesible easily with tram, next to a great garden. Breakfast is good, the room was clean and comfortable the stuff was friendly. We spent there a week and enjoyed our staying.

I was initially given a room in which the wifi did not work and reported to the front desk, to which their answer was "our technician will fix it shortly." What they neglected to say was that the technician had already gone home for the day. What was more frustrating is that after checking up with them directly after and... More

There are lots of annoying noise and sounds in the room , there is a weak wifi , you can not use wifi easily. And when we said to reciption that the room has lots of annoying sounds , they just said sorry the hotel is full . The staffs talking to each other verry loud and laugh verry loudly... More

1) Location: Great little hotel snugged by Petrin's in the Lesser Town in Prague. 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and Kampa, every possible cafe and restaurant and deserts along the way, 5 minutes to the Malostranske Square to walk up to Hradcany Castle, tram stop RIGHT across the hotel that takes you to either Andel station with shopping and... Charming hotel close to the Vltava river and the historic Charles Bridge. Tram stops are close by, so if you're not into walking the 30 minutes past the wonderful architecture overlooking the cobbled streets into the heart of Prague Old Town, then you're sorted for transport. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Check-in was swift and easy. Breakfast is a free... More

Only a few amenities nudged this from a poor rating to average, so I'll start with those. The location is great. We were in close proximity to Castle Hill and Old Town, all within walking distance. The breakfast is plentiful, mostly bread items, but so much food. The lobby is lovely, though the fish tank is unnecessary. Money for its... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
