It had a very good lobbying system with staff who spoke all sorts of different languages and we're very helpful in giving us directions to sights and also suggestions for restaurants and bars top visit!!! This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel, and I will be back again. On this occasion I was given a room on the fourth (top) floor, although the views from the window looked across the adjacent building roofs, I did prefer this floor to lower levels that I have stayed in previously. Most of the hotel... More

I was looking online for a hotel in Mala Strana for a one-day stopover in Prague, and Roma came up as the least expensive in the mid-range, so I decided to give it a try. The room was certainly adequate, clean and with a little charm. The hotel is situated in a nice enough area across from a large park... More

Nice rooms, but far from perfect, Breakfast was good, and the hotel had an ideal location. Big aquarium in a nice lobby with only one small shark!!?? Just returned from a four night stay, would definately stay here again. The hotel is in 'lesser town' I found this to be perfect as it is a less touristy area and you can tell this by many of the prices in the restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel is opposite Petrin hill which is well worth the trek up as... More

Lovely hotel. Staff were very pleasant. Excellent location, a short walk from the Charles bridge and the castle. A tram stop is directly across the street. Breakfast was nice and the bar was pleasant to sit in and not too expensive. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
