We loved this hotel! It's pretty small (17 rooms I think). We stayed in a beautiful and very unusual room with a bed in one room and stairs up to another bedroom. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was very helpful. There is a small terrass on the roof. It's located in a nice area. We would love... More

This hotel is in a fantastic central location with all the sites of Prague on your doorstep. The hotel itself is quirky with a lovely terrace garden, helpful staff and great views of the city. Rooms are clean with all you need including an iPad with city information and weather, the only thing was the beds were two singles pushed... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good english. They even knew we had a two year old, so a crib was set up in our room before we arrived. Very cool. The breakfast buffet was typical european, but very nice and comprehensive; the perfect way to get a head start on touring an amazing city.

The Golden Wheel is high up Nerudova, a cobbled street that leads to the Castle just a few hundred metres away. The staff at the hotel are all friendly, speak good English and keen to help whether it's to recommend a local restaurant or arrange a taxi ride with an accredited driver. The room we had was spacious, wooden beamed with comfortable... More

I concur with the previous reviews of this excellent hotel. There was a portable AC unit in our room which kept us cool although we also had a balcony looking up to the castle (ask for room 410) which is where we relaxed before going out. The hotel is probably 10 mins to Charles Bridge which makes it ideal for... More

We were picked up by a taxi arranged through the hotel for the 20 minute scenic drive from the Prague airport. Upon arrival we were greeted by Michelle at the desk and greeted with sparkling apple juice in flutes from the attached cafe. Definitely a great welcome. Our room, 307, was huge and had a view up to the castle.... More

This hotel is in truly excellent location (5 min to the castle and cathedral, 10 min to the charles bridge), very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok but could be more variety. Our room was clean and nice, however we were staying during a hot summer day and there was no ordinary conditioning... It made us feel like in... More

We had a fantastic weekend at the hotel. We booked 3 rooms and everyone was different. It is a great location and within easy walk to Charles Bridge and other tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but there are lots of restaurants and bars close by.

The location, the breakfast, the service, the room...everything was perfect. The only glitch was the AC which consist of a small fan which during humid days is not the ideal. You are really within 20 minutes walking distance of all the main tourist sites and in most case within 10 minutes. Not too far from there we recommended Noi (Thai... More

I booked this hotel for me and my partner for his birthday for 3 nights. It is located close to Prague Castle and only a 5-10 minute walk to Charles Bridge (leading to the Old Town Square). The room was lovely and clean, it comprised of a black and white bathroom, mini bar fridge, kettle, tv, wifi, chairs, air con,... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
