Was in Prague for a long weekend, our stay was exceptional. Rooms where clean and tidy. Staff where all very helpful and full of suggestion for places to visit. We asked for a later check out and was given it with out any problems. We did not eat at the hotel. Hotel location was great with walking distance to most of the city, and good connection from the main train station, about a 20 min walk.
Spent 5 nights here on the way back from Amsterdam to Budapest cruise after catching a train from Budpaest. Check in service was friendly & helpful. We had a few issues initially as the first room allocated still had guests in it even though we had arrived late in the afternoon. We were allocated another room which we found unsatisfactory as the walls came in on us at angles as it was near the top of the bulding. We were then allocated another room below ground level which was spacious but served the purpose for one night. We would not have liked to stay in this room any longer. The next day we were allocated a spacious room for the remaining 4 nights which was excellent. Breakfast covered in our tarriff was excellent every morning with obliging and friendly wait staff. I was supposed to stay at Hotel Leonardo mid-April as part of a business trip. My company put all international travel on hold as of March 6 and I immediately contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation. Three days later and 34 days before my supposed trip, they charged my credit card for the full amount!! I talked to the reservation manager, Jakub Knejp, who told me since there was no travel restriction imposed by the EU at the time, the best he could do was give me the full credit instead of the refund so I can rebook once the crisis was over. I would need to go on this trip at some point so I agreed. Lo and behold, he sent me a few vague emails not confirming my credit and then stopped communication altogether. When the EU put the non-members' travel restrictions in place,…
We came here for my girlfriends birthday and stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were very polite, happy and welcoming! The hotel and rooms were very clean and were cleaned thoroughly daily. The staff were also very helpful with any questions that we had. The hotel is in an ideal location for seeing any sites, restaurants, bars, etc, all within a short walking distance. If we were to come back to Prague then we would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay at Hotel Leonardo! The one thing I would say that caught us out was you had to pay a fee for the mini bar which the hotel held and returned back to you at the end of your stay about 3000czk (€113). There is also a city tax that has to be paid at the end of your stay which works out about €1.50 a night so it's not…
Lovely place with a friendly staff. We had a cute, clean room, good breakfast within walking distance to many places. Great restaurants and bars in 100 meters, and the tram station in 200. Great value.
We have enjoyed a two night stay here having booked following recommendations on this site, we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay the staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed with incredibly warm powerful showers and such comfy beds, just what you need after a busy day walking around the city. Breakfast was varied and provided something for everyone. Can’t fault this hotel for location, service and comfort, would definitely recommend.
This was our first trip to Prague and it did not disappoint. On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by lovely staff. We arrived at about 10.30am and was pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to check in and go to our room early, as it was ready. The man on the front desk was so helpful and friendly- gave us a map and marked restaurant recommendations and tourist recommendations- it was really helpful. Then, when he took us up to our room, we were again surprised that our room had been upgraded. The room was gorgeous with beams and skylights. It was so clean (which I’m usually very particular about) and the bed was very comfy. Just be aware that the heating is on as we boiled the first night haha! Breakfast was lovely- a wide range of things you can choose from. The only…
Very nice Hotel. Great location within the old town and walkable to very place and main tourist sites. Staff very friendly and helpful with a decent breakfast. Clean and comfortable Close to the airport as the hotel provides a transfer service at very reasonable price.
Location of this hotel is good. However the room I was given had some problem in the drainpipes and hence smelled like sewage. I was given another room with no window outside (just to corrdor) and obviously dysfunctional temeperature control. The room was very hot and therefore I had very bad sleep.
The Hotel has a very professional and friendly service. The perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the Charles Bridge and 10 minutes from the whole historical centre of Prague. The room is very pleasant, spacious, comfortable and clean. Very complete breakfasts. It is also very balanced in price. If we return to Prague we will not hesitate to repeat the experience.
