Neighborhood
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Spent 5 nights here on the way back from Amsterdam to Budapest cruise after catching a train from Budpaest. Check in service was friendly & helpful. We had a few issues initially as the first room allocated still had guests in it even though we had arrived late in the afternoon. We were allocated another room which we found unsatisfactory as the walls came in on us at angles as it was near the top of the bulding. We were then allocated another room below ground level which was spacious but served the purpose for one night. We would not have liked to stay in this room any longer. The next day we were allocated a spacious room for the remaining 4 nights which was excellent. Breakfast covered in our tarriff was excellent every morning with obliging and friendly wait staff. Hotel very handy to all of what Prague has to offer. The following 2 staff members were very helpful to us & recommend them as they provided excellent service going above the level to please being Kobie & Djamel.

I was supposed to stay at Hotel Leonardo mid-April as part of a business trip. My company put all international travel on hold as of March 6 and I immediately contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation. Three days later and 34 days before my supposed trip, they charged my credit card for the full amount!! I talked to the reservation manager, Jakub Knejp, who told me since there was no travel restriction imposed by the EU at the time, the best he could do was give me the full credit instead of the refund so I can rebook once the crisis was over. I would need to go on this trip at some point so I agreed. Lo and behold, he sent me a few vague emails not confirming my credit and then stopped communication altogether. When the EU put the non-members' travel restrictions in place, I called and emailed the hotel again. On March 20th, I got confirmation both verbally and via email from Danara Ochirova that I would receive my full refund. A week later, I got another email stating that if I agree to go for hotel credit instead of a refund, they will give me a 10% discount on my next stay. A week after they said I will get my full refund ASAP!!! I refused. I got another email today, after another five days from Darana herself that if I want to get my refund, I need to send another email requesting the refund!!!!! Are you serious?! How many email requests do you need??? And I already have the email confirming that I will get my refund. I sent the email request again anyway. And called again. This time I spoke to a sales agent named Romana Pudivola. I explained the situation to her and asked her to speak with her supervisor to get this resolved once and for all. She refused to give me her boss's name!!! She said she will contact the accounting tomorrow (and not today - it was 3:00 PM over there), and that she had no obligation to tell me her boss's name!!! I understand the predicament the hospitality industry finds itself in, but this is beyond unprofessional. I would have happily stayed at Hotel Leonardo once in Prague; not anymore. Keep your money, keep your peace and sanity, and run!

We came here for my girlfriends birthday and stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were very polite, happy and welcoming! The hotel and rooms were very clean and were cleaned thoroughly daily. The staff were also very helpful with any questions that we had. The hotel is in an ideal location for seeing any sites, restaurants, bars, etc, all within a short walking distance. If we were to come back to Prague then we would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay at Hotel Leonardo! The one thing I would say that caught us out was you had to pay a fee for the mini bar which the hotel held and returned back to you at the end of your stay about 3000czk (€113). There is also a city tax that has to be paid at the end of your stay which works out about €1.50 a night so it's not to bad as I was expecting worse! I definitely recommend the Hotel Leonardo.

Lovely place with a friendly staff. We had a cute, clean room, good breakfast within walking distance to many places. Great restaurants and bars in 100 meters, and the tram station in 200. Great value.

We have enjoyed a two night stay here having booked following recommendations on this site, we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay the staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed with incredibly warm powerful showers and such comfy beds, just what you need after a busy day walking around the city. Breakfast was varied and provided something for everyone. Can’t fault this hotel for location, service and comfort, would definitely recommend.
