Spent two nights in this hotel for a business trip. After the first night when my room was very hot and the thermostat didn't work I asked them to fix it during the day. Came back after work and it was still not fixed, I was told to open the window instead. This is not the point the street is...

The hotel arranged airport pick and drop off so airport transport was hassle free. The reception staff were lovely and asked if we had been to Prague before. When we said we hadn't we were presented with a map and all the best places to visit were explained and marked on the map. We found they were very knowledgeable and...

Just got back from a short break away at this lovely hotel. Room was really nice (with the exception of buiding work next door:( ) I know it can't be helped and progress goes on in most places - just wish the workmen started at 9 and not 7.30 each morning...no chance of a lie in!) Staff very friendly -...

I really can't fault this place. Firstly it's location is excellent, five minutes walk to the Charles Bridge, ten minutes to the old town square. Loads of bars, restaurants and clubs nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is tasteful and charming with a lovely courtyard decorated with a huge Christmas tree. Room was great, massive comfy bed, lovely...

Old building which is full of character. I think I had one of the cheaper rooms but I couldn't have wished for anything better. Maybe a view but that didn't matter. Large, comfortable room with a generously proportioned bathroom. As is often the case in Prague the breakfast room was in a beautiful vaulted cellar. Breakfast itself was a buffet...

OK. Told my taxi driver the name of the hotel and he gives me a funny name. Told him the street and he goes OK. It's about 15-20 minutes drive from the airport. 5 minutes from the Charles Bridge (walking), about 10 minutes from the Old Square (walking). On arrival we were greeted by David I think his name is....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
