I have nothing bad to say about this place. The staff speaks English, breakfast is good and everything is very clean. Even the common fridge! The metro and tram are nearby. Use the given bed sheets, I saw many people sleeping without them even though it's stricktly forbidden!!!

My friend and I showed up to this hostel late at night and exhausted. The staff was so kind. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was 3 euro, but well worth it. The showers we large and the locked. We were even able to have laundry washed and dried! 10\10 would recommend this hostel if you're... More

Arpacay is located on Nerudova and is just a stone's throw from Prague Castle (which you can see from some of the rooms). The receptionists were all very friendly, and the breakfast (for 3€) was great. I stayed in the 8 bed dormitory, which was very tidy, spacious, airy and tastefully done. The water was hot in the mornings, and... More

We stayed 3 nights in the hostel. It was clean, the beds were ok(no curtains :( ) and the location is good. Very close to the castle, 10 minutes walk from the Charles bridge and the street where it is located is nice as well. We were with 11 persons in a 16 person room with 2 personal showers which... The first thing you notice about this hostel is that its located on the lovely Nerudova street. Infact its so close to the Prague castle that a lively stroll at night can end up exploring the Prague castle. The staff is amazing and ever so ready to help. I thought its a bit far from the Old town, but only... More

Thanks to all staffs of Arpacay Hostel. Its a true Backpackers Hostel with all the comforts. We had a great stay of two days there in second week of March, 2016. Rooms were warm, tidy and clean with Wi-Fi. Lounge area was small but comfortable. We liked the concept of writing on the wall with coloured pens. Breakfast is not... More

This hostel is really nice. The rooms were clean and cute. The morning breakfast buffet was cheap and delicious and the staff was really helpful and friendly. The hostel is located just below the hill of Prague castle too!

We were very happy to stay at Arpacay. As a group of three girls, we felt very safe and comfortable. The hostel is well located and was surrounded by some excellent restaurants. The rooms were very clean, WiFi excellent and they had cheap snacks available. Our only issues were how noisy the rooms were, they had very thin walls and... More

My friends and I stayed in the attic dorm room, with plenty of space to spread out. The climb to the top of the building was about 4 floors. The building is secure and they have lockers for your valuables inside the rooms. We used the fully equipped kitchen to cook in (hint, buy food from brand name markets, like... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
