Detailed Reviews
As part of post covid we splurged on a week's vacation to give 3 of our granddaughters the trip for their bat mizva that they will cherish as a memory hopefully for the rest of their lives. The king David hotel was the venue and their lovely rooms, polite and helpful staff gave their very best. Excellent buffet breakfasts and sumptuous shabbat meals. And the spa was the perfect afternoon activity after walking around the beautiful city of Prague. Thank you the staff of the King David Hotel Prague

We visited Prague for a few days and had a wonderful time.
The hotel was clean and comfortable Accommodating us in quite a luxurious room and you refurbish bathroom. Breakfast was served with a Generous selection of food and drink.
Great localisation. Several tourist attractions within the area and walking distance. The Hotel conveniently helped us with our itinerary and had vouchers to offer us for some trips.
The milky restaurant within the hotel was convenient to. However, there was only one person serving Several people and it took the time to get the food. The menu could also do with some expanding.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the King David hotel for a warm and kosher experience. We look forward to returning. Thank you!

The meals are good (apart from the absence of restocking for desserts), the bedding and the bathroom are good as is the location. The big problems: 1.Many of the staff (especially at reception) are unfriendly. No mastery of hotel codes or even the basics of politeness.
2. The hotel does not specify that some rooms are on the ground floor with a view of a double highway. Unable to open window. We had to change rooms, reception reversed its decision the next day. Too bad because there are a lot of positive points.

This hotel was perfect and had everything we needed. I don’t recall ever having been to a hotel where every single staff member was so willing (with a smile!) to go above and beyond to cater to every need. Truly an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

I hope that a manager or a supervisor reads my review because what happened to me is unacceptable.
Today March 12th, few minutes ago I got a call from the guy who works at the front desk regarding to a reservation. This guy was so rude that I couldn't even believe was I was listening to... He used words such as "bullsh*t", "sh*t" or "f*ck". How's possible that a person who works at a front desk in a hotel like this one uses that vocabulary?
I still can't believe.
PLEASE, management, find out who's the guy who was working today (March 12th around 4pm) at the front desk at your hotel and give him a training about customer service skills and communication.

The King David Hotel was awesome! We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time here. The kosher buffet was always delicious and provided plenty of food options! The shabbos services in the hotel, including the synagogue and meals were perfect! The rooms were very nice and comfortable, with top level amenities! The beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean and modern! We recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in Prague!

Stayed at this hotel for weekends in March in standard room with my wife. It was not big but very comfortable and cozy room! This hotel situated in historical central in the old, well-preserved building. So we really enjoyed that! What are some wooden doors at the entrance, which set a great mood with their beauty!
Room was clean, no questions.
After check-in we didn’t find bathrobes in the room, and “welcome bottle of water” was half empty. But hotel stuff decide these issues instantly.
And off course I couldn’t miss absolutely amazing bed which are the best after long walks! It was very very comfortable for sleeping.
Hotel situated in 10-15 min walk from the Staromestskaya (old town) square and 45 min walk from “Prague castle”.
We recommend this hotel in Prague!

We arrived at the hotel after a long flight. And as soon as we entered the hotel gates, we were greeted warmly, with a smile and we already understood that we had arrived at the right place. The service is excellent and with a smile, clean rooms, fresh and delicious food, the hotel lobby is clean and smells good .

Do the staff, particularly the front desk, restaurant, and concierge, speak English?
About twenty minutes on foot and ten minutes by car
Hi,
There is one lift which goes all the way down to basement level, I am not sure if it goes all the way to the top (I guess it does?) - it definitely went to the first floor where I was staying...
I don't know what you would require to use the scooter, but I can tell you that the front entrance is via a steep (internal) flight of stairs. It is possible that they have another entrance. It is worth asking the hotel this question.
I would think that the room that I stayed at was big enough for a scooter to maneuver in.
Hope this helps, good luck!
Sorry, I don't know prices, try Expedia, Trivago etc! Good luck!!
Dear Drami,
All services we provide are Kosher; hotel is fully equipped for Orthodox guests. The pool should be open in April.
We look forward to your visit.
Regards,
Katarina
