The hotel - close to the old city and nice views over the river if you get a nice room. The room itself nicely equipped modern ikea style minibar coffee etc. Hotel staff should be more quest centric - waited a long time at the bar since cleaning glassed appeared to be more important for the only person there. Service...

I visited this hotel in February 2017. The hotel is clean, all staff is friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and modernly furnished. What I really liked was a spatial solution. From my bed I could see the river and the park on the opposite side. It must be a wonderful view in summer. I enjoyed all my meals...

This was a disappointment. On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and tried hard, but were mainly young and untrained. The room was OK, for a 3*. Apparently the place is being refurbished, it needs this urgently. The balcony was more suited to a housing project, the décor was very 1970s and impersonal. The restaurant was more like...

I stayed already many times in this hotel. And now, when almost all rooms are refurnished it's simply excellent. Breakfast is excellent, staff very useful. There is only one problem - they don't have enough parking places. So, it's strongly recommended to have a reservation for a parking as well.

Excellent hotel. The breakfast was great. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The central plateau 5' walking. We were just unlucky because there were renovating the spa. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an extremely comfortable stay at the Hotel President. This hotel is ideally situated on the banks of the river to the north of the old town, and my room had great views of both the river and the park on the hill. Check in was smooth and polite, my room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, extremely comfortable, peaceful...

Stayed for a couple of nights. Location within the heart of the Jewish district is convenient and walkable to the main tourist areas. Good local transport connections. The room with a river view was recently refurbished and very comfortable. We marked it down for .. very dated lobby and overwhelming smell of cigar smoke in the lobby in the evenings...

Dear Guests, Thank you very much for choosing The President Hotel Prague for your stay and for taking your time to write your review. It is a centrally located hotel with a very cozy room that had both shower and bath, impeccable cleaning, coffe/tea in the room, fantastic river view. Drawbacks: - not enough umbrellas to borrow during rain - cheap ikea cups and glasses for breakfast - breakfast is very modest... - room was cold when it was +4 outside - very short...

The President Hotel is a great hotel. Our room was elegant, modern and comfortable, for a great price. The location can't be beat-- right on the river, located in the historic Jewish quarter with many historic sites, a short walk to high-end shopping, to Christmas market (in December :)), to the famous Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. As to the...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
