We arrived here at 1130 am after a long flight and the standard check in time is 3 PM. Usually hotels around the world accommodate guests early subject to availability, however what I found little strict was that even though rooms were available the reception told us 50 euro will be charged for check in before 3 pm. The bell...

Stayed there for 2 nights. Excellent location across from the river and 5 minute walk to the main plaza. Renovated rooms, clean bathrooms. For sure not a 5 star property. At nights it was pretty warm and the air condition was turn off in the hotel. It's only on in the summertime, that's what the receptionist told us. The staff...

This was our 3rd stay here since renovation and it has been brilliant every time. The staff, Martina, Diana, David and Kamil are so friendly and check in was swift and professional. The night receptionist was so kind too (sorry I didn't get his name) and he gave us umbrellas to use during a sudden downpour. I'm so excited to...

The stay in prague for four days at president hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The hotel exterior is very old and not in good shape but the rooms were great not less than a five star hotel. Bathrooms were very nice and new. They are exactly as shown in the pictures.

The best thing about the President is the picture postcard view of the river & castle (from the junior suite). Fortunately we received one of these rooms, which was also very spacious and luxurious. The hotel is literally a couple of minutes walk away from the Jewish quarter and main square, which was good for us. The room had all...

Awesome location and hotel. It is very near to the central market, and directly opposite the prague river. I could view the river from my room window and it was beautiful. I visited Prague during Christmas and it was one of the best places to be gone to.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
