The first time we went to this place we received some of the best service ever experienced anywhere from a waiter with real skill and attention who served us the best desert ever had any where. The next two times we went we were attended to by the owner who was courteous but perfunctory and unable to accommodate some small extra requests making the whole experience much less special or intimate. The food was good but not up to the excellence of the desert we had on the first occasion.

Amazing place, that kind of a hidden gem in a big city. It's family owned hotel, really cosy, clean, you can meet the owner who speaks Czech, English, Norwegian, a bit of Spanish and Italian... really glad to be here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in September and we both absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The location was perfect, we were able to walk right to the train station and even were able to purchase train tickets at the front desk of the hotel. The owners were very accommodating and recommended places for us to visit and answered any questions we had about the city. Last but not least, the food, it was delicious! One of the best meals I probably have ever had. We actually ended up eating in the restaurant all 3 nights while staying there. I also loved that I could finish my wine upstairs in my room or on the balcony;) I tell everyone that is planning to travel to Prague that they must stay here, it’s a castle and a gem! 💫

Menu restricted to the best choice depending on the seasonal ingredients, meals prepared with supernatural sense of delicacy taste and experience. Food that you rarely find served anywhere else is prepared with love and personal touch best described as nothing that the owner and the chief cook would eat himself or would serve to his family.

Awesome business dinner with a new CEO from Israel. Home made by Mira Kuchar, the owner. Kulajda soup is an absolutely must have! Wine shop one of the best in town. For foodies and sea food lovers - octopus with potatoes. Heaven in mouth ❤

We visited Prague because of the 'Rod Laver' cup and spent a wonderful weekend at Hotel Diana. Rooms are nicely maintained, staff or the family themself are really kind and attentive. The breakfast was also really good, nice variety and tasteful presentation. On first morning we even had the pleasure to enjoy a glass of champagne for breakfast. Public transportation is very close; the METRO station to the downtown is appr. 5~10 minutes walking distance.

We spent our last day in the Czech Republic in Prague in this hotel. We arrived early and got tickets for the subway and a map in the hotel to go to Republic Square. After spending a rainy day in Prague the Kuchařů family literally gave us a warm welcome at the hotel for they turned the heating on in our room, great service! Our dinner was truly delicious. The beds were wonderful and our breakfast excellent. After our checkout we were invited to come again and that is definitely what we will do when we visit Prague again.

The hotel is located in Prague 14 district (it is the East) only few kilometers from E67&E65 highways. If you travel by car it's a great choice, because you don't need to spend time in the busy city center and look for parking. Btw, the parking is free of charge in this hotel. Another benefit, it's distance to a nearest metro (underground) station called 'Rajská zahrada', about 8-10 mins by walk. Note that you may need local coins to pay for tickets. It costs about 24Kc (~1Euro) for 30mins for 3 lines. This is more that enough to travel to any station near the city center. A cashdesk on a station is opened during working hours/days only, so make sure you have coins. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to pay with card on ticket self-service. One station or few minutes away are placed really big shopping center 'Černý Most' as well as well known IKEA. Our room was exceptionally clean, light, cozy and quite. It has more than enough space for two. Except two split (but connected) beds there is an additional sofa for one adult or two children. From point of view this place is most suitable for couples or family. Downstairs you can find tiny and cozy restaurant is led by Mr. Kuchar, owner of hotel and made up in hunting cabin style. We ordered meat - deer and beef steak, it was amazing, I've never ate so tasty food before! They also have their own wine shop with great collection of vines from different parts of Europe. You can choose few bottles and taste by yourself what to order. In comparison with other places price is little bit high, but it's worth money for 100%, the quality is exceptional. A breakfast is continental style buffet with fresh and selected food. Outside is beautiful small garden along with parking. Also there you can find two small parrots in a cage as well as place to rest. Btw, if you get tired with watching czech tv you can switch to front camera to watch yard and parking followed by jazz music :) I love this place and certainly return there in the future. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Kuchar!

This hotel owned by a nice family is located in suburbs of Prague. There is close metro to the centre. The rooms are top, but the best thing is the cuisine, which I rate to be the best in the Czech republic. It is worth only coming for dinner. But make a reservation!!!

Hotel Diana was the best thing we had in Czech Republic and we loved everything about this hotel. The Kuchar family was really friendly and nice people. We were especially impressed with how they treat us... We felt we were treated like family or friends, not as guests or customers. They showed sincerity and genuine interest in us, yet in a professional way. The place was decorated very nicely and we had a very comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. Great location, fantastic breakfast, small but cozy garden, etc... We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to Prague. The only thing we missed was the restaurant run by Mr Kuchar. Hope we will have a chance to try the food there some day. Thank you Mr and Mrs Kuchar!!!!
