The hotel is situated just beside the tourist streaks and thus it is close to everything but still fairly quiet. The room we had was very beautiful and the painted walls were such that you would expect to find them in a museum. The breakfast and service left nothing to be desired.

Lovely hotel in great location - convenient and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Good restaurant recommendations. Room was large. Breakfast just right. All very clean and stylish. One of the best city hotels I have ever stayed in. When I next visit Prague I will certainly stay here again.

This hotel is a gem. We couldn't have been happier. The room was big and comfortable. The bed was as good as our own bed at home (and we have very high standards when it comes to beds). The staff was friendly and helpful. Love this place.

The most beautiful hotel I've stayed in. Greeted by Mikila who was amazing with her welcome. We booked rooms 2& 3 adjoining to make the most amazing suite. Spotless, historic, modern, amazing. Just situated minutes from Prague Castle, 5 minutes from Charles Bridge, 15 minutes from The Old Town Square. Perfect location. I really wanted to give it a 5... More

We stayed there for four days with my wife. The location is perfect, close to the castle, and just a couple minutes on foot to Charle's bridge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The only down side was, that the doors were so low, that I hit my head a couple times. The staff was really helpful. We... More

Secluded amongst the back streets of the Mala Strana, this hotel is an oasis of calm. Like so many of its’ neighbours this is a refurbished old building with smart, mostly white-washed walls in the public areas and some really stylish guest rooms (all with full descriptions on their website which is most useful). We choose J.B. Santini, a superior... More

This is a charming small hotel with lots of character, simple but comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast. The staff were all smiles and more than happy to assist with questions and airport transfers for our short weekend stay. Perhaps most importantly, it is located on a fairly quiet street in the Mala Strana away from the maddening crowds of... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
