Great location!! Very nice staff. We took a room with two beds (wish the matresses were more comfortable) and nice size terrace (no city view for this rooms), it was clean, good size, breakfast was very good. Hair dryer, safe box and a kettle in the room. We loved it.
I usually use the perfectly good K+K Fenix down a side street about 100 yds away (review lower down). From now on I’ll be staying here. Small footprint on the Square but it goes back a long way. We booked a suite with lounge and terrace and were fortunate it was sunny both days. The suite was a good size. The terrace was at the back of the hotel on the 6th (top) floor and we could see the Castle and a couple of other landmarks. Not perfectly as you’d need one more floor to do that. Remarkably the room is insulated from the considerable noise of Wenceslas Square. A real bonus. It’s a 10 minute walk from the main station and time it right and 50 minutes will see you at the airport. Bars and eateries close by on the Square and at all streets off it. Receptionist was very helpful and buffet breakfast was good value but the breakfast room does fill up. I’ll be staying here again next time I’m passing through Prague…
M wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in november. Location is excellent in the heart of the city and perfect for transportation. The Hotel Room was Big ,Clean,Comfortable with 2 beds which we requested. Breakfast was great every morning and was included in the price. The man and woman at reception were excellent .The male recepionist/porter has a big future ahead of him in the hospitality sector. We would Return again. Thank you.
I stayed in room 603 from 11.08 to 17.08. The quality of the room I stayed in was comparable to a cheap hostel in an Asian country. See for yourself: - spider web in the room, - dirty, stained and stained lampshades, - mold in the shower, - broken soap dispensers, - dirty stains in the toilet, - a disfigured hair dryer, - plaster that falls on the head, - stains and dirt on the chairs , - dust and debris under the bed, - mold and rust on the shower hose, - broken door stops. I asked to bring me an iron and ironing board to my room. The board was all stained and streaked, the iron was broken and dangerous to use. The fact that the room is not cleaned is clear from the receipt of the past guest, which I found in the table. For several days I demanded a meeting with the manager through the reception staff. Several times they made an appointment for me, but your employee never came and, as a result, refused to speak even on the phone. Girls from the dining room came to me, they spoke Russian, but only made a helpless gesture. Nobody could help me and put the room in order. I can't blame the staff, I just blame the incompetent, incompetent manager of this hotel. He does not know what is happening in his hotel in the very center of Prague !!! He really didn't speak to me and react to my complaints. I find such living conditions outrageous. Several times after the trip, I called the hotel and asked to contact me to leave a complaint - there was no reaction. For my part, I intend to give as much publicity as possible to that mess and horror of conditions in your hotel. You are unworthy to receive guests, this is not a hotel, this is a barn for animals. At the same time, I want to note that all the front desk staff were nice, kind and sympathetic to me.…
The hotel is in a great location,in the middle of Vazlav av.,small distance to old city and all attractions, the breakfast is good and varied threception staff is kind and willing to help Attractive price!
The Ramada Praha is well located. The staff at the reception was very friendly. For the rest it needs an urgent refreshment and renovation. The design is a bit depressing. That explains perhaps that the hotel rates are very cheap.
Ramada usually has a good reputation, but this one was not as expected. Some staff were excellent, however some were rude and unprofessional when we had a problem with our room. Lights were hanging off the wall, bad layout of room etc. Had to make a fuss to get a decent room etc. Will not be coming back again.
1. I booked twin because I traveled with my son and received queen room 2. They charged my credit card up front 3. They overcharged me 15% over that what I booked 4. We stayed 5 days and I have not seen room service the whole time. Nobody gave us fresh towels nor shampoo even though I asked receptionist 5. It was really hot in the room because the AC produced only regular air. The technician looked at that and said it worked fine. We could not sleep because of the heat
Recently stayed here , the place met my needs and was very clean and comfy and reception staff were accommodating and was central to all Prague had to offer , easy to get to via public transport from the airport and 2 minute walk from metro and 5 minute walk from main train station
We decided to mark our anniversary with train journeys across Europe, starting in South West of England. So we decided whilst in Berlin why not have lunch in Prague, just go for the day, have our 30th Valentines day lunch at cafe Mozart in the Old Town over looking the Astronomical clock, but it turned into a brilliant mini adventure, so after missing our train back to Berlin twice, once because of hubby's mobile, and the second because the guard insisted it was the wrong train, (I am also thankful to the foresight of the lady who sold us the new train tickets at the station, I think she knew the 8 hour return to Berlin would have been a bridge to far and our tickets were valid for the 6.23am train which was no changes and 4 hours) We had to find a hotel relatively close to the train station, we kind of decided on this one because we know the brand. And what a lovely surprise, the hotel was full, and they had one twin left, the staff were outstanding, so friendly, so helpful. The rooms were clean, well appointed, with a tea & coffee tray. The whole hotel shines like a new pin if I am honest. We had dinner there and it was lovely, our waiter was brilliant as well, so after what was a stressful few hours, we relaxed and enjoyed the city. This Hotel is located where history was made, and I can really recommend staying at this hotel. We are coming back to Prague in the summer. I would like to do a shout out for AAA taxis, who without there help we would have not got my hubby's phone back. The train journey back to Berlin was amazing as well, watching the sun rising over such spectacular scenery was a great way to travel. Nothing but praise for the people of this city.…
