We visited the hotel for a four day stay in one of their suites. The first I must say is this hotel is in such an awesome position in Wenceslas Square, local access to everything with very good restaurants nearby. From the moment we drove up, the reception staff could not help enough, from arranging to take our car to... More

The location is superb. The internet connection is below average and the arrangement of the rooms is very strange where you have to swich elivators to get to your room. Not more than an average hotel.

The location is perfect for using public transport all over town. The staff are very helpful, allowing me to use their freezer, providing a scale to weigh luggage, giving guidance on using trams and metro. Breakfasts have something for everyone, and they prepare special orders over and above what is on offer. We liked sleeping with window open, and it... More

I came here at 11pm and the service was horrible. Reception was not nice and when we ask why it took so much time to check in (almost an hour and there were no other guest), she said to me "it is not my fault you check in late". And we told her to be nicer because her attitude is... More

Very close to the Prague main railway station, a decent place at Prague's Wanceslas Square. The lobby is tiny, staff - ok, tedious walk to the room, spacious and clean rooms but some sort of unpleasant smell from the bathroom. All in all, just an average property. Breakfast was good but the spread is just the same everyday. All in... More

After long day traveling and late night we went down to breakfast at 10:00 (advertised 06:30-10:30). At qtr past they started clearing away the buffet selection even though people were still choosing. At 25 past a rather brusque waiter took my wife's plate away even though she was still eating! The staff realised we were not happy, so one of... More

I read a review regarding the behavior of breakfast staff dated 29th june and in its reply the management had assured that there will be consequences. However during our stay from 4-6 july , we found the staff at breakfast time to be not just discourteous but downright uncivil. The first morning of our breakfast the room was overflowing with... The place looks like a dump from the street. The lobby was tiny. I was upgraded to a suite on the 3rd floor for my one night stay. But I had to go up 1 elevator to the 1st floor, walk all the way down to the other end of the hotel, and then take a 2nd elevator up to... More

Just home from my stag with 6 rooms used here. Location is perfect for a visit to Prague. Rooms spotless and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Good comfortable city base for a short break. Room was adequate but with very little storage space but bathroom was great with a walk in powerful shower. Quiet back of the hotel room but with annoying loud pigeon squawking if you had the window open, especially early morning. Those guests at the front of the Hotel found the street noise... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
