We have stayed in this hotel 3 times and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Prague. It is in the perfect location to explore, The rooms are so clean/well equipped and beautifully decorated with amazing views of the square and Charles Bridge. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a large variety of different foods. Customer service was outstanding from all staff and Michal went over & above by supplying us with a map, pointing out areas of interest and arranging taxis to and from the airport . What a great guy. We stayed over the Christmas period and it was wonderful. The restaurant within the hotel serves really good food at great prices.Thank you all so much x

Lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Location was perfect, walking distance to the old town just over the Charles bridge, but in a quiet location. With choices on bars and restaurants nearby. Comfy spacious room (first room at the top of the stairs), 2x adults and 2 children (9 and 12) shared with plenty of space, bathroom with separate shower cubicle.
Breakfast was simple but lovely, few cooked items, fresh fruit, pastry items all on offer. Ate in the restaurant once for dinner and again lovely food.
Wouldn't hesitate to return and certainly didn't disappoint on any level. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay/visit in Prague.

We stay 2 nights in this small hotel next to Charles bridge in Kampa.
Room was very spacy with comfortable bathroom. We stay in room with view on Charles bridge. Disadvatige can be restaurant under the windows of room. It can be little bit noise in the evening.
Breakfast was more basic, but very tasty.
Personal of hotel is nice and helpfull.
Definitly one of the best 4 stars hotel in Prague

Good location just off Charles Bridge, service was okay, seemed to slam the drinks on the table and it seemed expensive for what we had.
1 beer, 1 coke. 1 water and a Campari and orange with a tip came to £15:50

I suppose you are paying for the area as much as anything.

It was our third time in this hotel and still was an amazing experience. Rooms, an atmosphere, location and very good restaurant. And of course so nice and helpful staff.
Hotels transport service from the airport is also high-level.

Fantastic, chilled couple of hours sat outside in the April sun.

Staff are really good. The food is lovely and the beer is cold. A great location to sit outside and watch the world go by.

I had the goulash and my wife had pasta. All great quality.

We could not have been more pleased staying five nights in this wonderful quiet oasis on Kampa Island, just steps away from all the activities of one of the world's most beautiful cities, Prague! Accommodations were perfect for us and the staff exceptional. We will highly recommend Hotel U Zlatych Nuzek to everyone we know headed for Prague. (note: since the hotel is without an elevator/lift, this facility would unfortunately not work for those unable to manage stairs.)

The hotel was absolutley spotless. All staff were more than helpful and spoke excellent english. They also helped me and my partner with some basic Czech, which gets you very far! There restaurant was a little more expensive than others and quite small, but was the best we had tasted on our visit. You MUST try the local wine Bohemia Demi-Sekt, it is beautiful. The view from the hotel was amazing over Na Kampe and very tranquil. Also this is very central and relaxed area. We are without any doubt returning back to Prague this year (2006) and hopefully going back to this hotel. EXCELLENT! :)

Hi there, Can't help with the room but it should take about 10 minutes to walk to Charles Bridge and another 10/15 to the squares/clock/Jewish quarter - very easy getting there as it's all downhill! For breakfast, there's a lovely spread with hot and cold - cold meats/salads/cheese/cereal/selection of breads/hot sausages/beans/bacon/eggs/toast - even bubbly! We never ate at the hotel but there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants on the main road, right near the hotel. There are plenty of toiletries in the room, not sure about music in the restaurant - we ordered a taxi from reception to take us to the airport and it was quick and easy - cost about 20 Euros. Have fun :)
