Old Prague Hotel is a good value and in a great location. Close to old town square shopping and the metro. Only the fourth floor rooms have air conditioning so be aware. The hotel did provide a large fan which made a big difference . The 12 foot ceilings helped also. If school is in session the playground behind the... More

The best word to describe this thing they call hotel is not publicable. I was put in a hot room with no fan. They sell it as having wifi. It doesn't worked. I had to go to the shop street to use an wifi to comunicate with my family and download maps for my journey. On the way back to... More

Pros: 1. Located very close to Old Town Square and a daily market area (right around the corner), yet far enough to be quiet. 2. Rooms are a decent size (regular European standard rooms), bathroom also a decent size. 3. Plenty of charm and character, old-world feel with art-deco wallpapers everywhere. 4. Receptionist spoke decent English. 5. An adult toys... More

The hotel is an old style one! Central location, at 5 min from there, walking distance is the most central part of Prague! The room has all the amenities. The breakfast is quite good, not something special though! It is value for money! Prague is so beautiful and there is plenty of things to do so you only need a... More

I had a nice 1 night stay at this property. I had a room on the 3rd floor. very quiet. The hotel is in a great location and Renata who works at the front desk is really nice and helpful. She is a great help and super friendly. I would stay at this property again.

Nice hotel with old style decoration. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is quite good. It's little walk to tram station. It also not far from Charles bridge. You can walk there in the morning then came back to hotel to have nice breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay in the Old Prague Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving us suggestions for navigating the city. Since we are always big on walking, it took us a while to find the hotel, but eventually miraculously appeared. The staff suggested great places to eat that were local restaurants and we were always... More

I opted for one of the budget rooms through in the courtyard which was around £30 with decent breakfast (included eggs and bacon as well as the usual continental options). Pretty good value in a central location. 5 mins from Mustek metro, National Avenue and old town pubs (nearby Konvikt, and Duende good for late arrival beers) The room decor... More

Husband and I arrived at approx 11am and got keys to room. Hotel seems to be in traditional decor. Our room was on 4th floor at back and was beside a schools sports ground -which naturally got very noisy when used. The room was very clean and housekeeping was fine. The man on reception desk was helpful, the breakfast adequate and... More

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms have quite good space. It was very quiet since it's in a street without to much traffic. Very close to the old city centre and the shopping area. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices, but the breakfast room was very small. The bed was not as comfortable as I... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
