The City Centre Hotel is in a great location, almost next to the metro stop, Palladium shopping centre and easy walking to Old Town Square. We had great views on the 5th floor. Lift wasn't working one night - not so great. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were absolutely dreadful. Unidentified meats, smoked cheese and lots of pickles....

Was doing Prague on a tight budget. This hotel is very good value. A large clean room, lots of towels and it was warm. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet. It's so near to everything, great location, and it's right opposite the bus stop from the shuttle service from the airport. The staff were nice and pleasant. There was a safe...

The hotel is 3 star so is basic and in need of some TLC. But its serviceable as in a fantastic location for the money. Within minutes of most places if not by foot by the different modes of transport. There are plenty of things I could remark on the broken items in the room etc My main remark is...

The best thing about this hotel was its location. It is at the start of the pedestrianised area in the city centre, it is just a few minutes walk from the Old Town, and it has good tram links. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and functional, if a little dated-looking. The bathroom was great and it...

The rooms were quite huge, frankly it was unnecessary. But nevertheless, we liked the old decors and furniture. Bedsheets looked clean. Free wifi is only available in the common lobby in the reception which was a bummer. Breakfast was quite good and had a lot of variety to choose from. Location was it was perfect!

Very, very good location - 10 mins walk to Old Town and a few minutes walk from a Metro station (Namesti Republiky). Very close to a taxi stand as well. Rooms are very basic, and wifi is only available for free downstairs (if you want to use wifi in your room it's 3 EUR per device for 24 hours). Staff...

The rooms are nice size and certainly comfortable. The pool area is awesome, good size and nice open area. They have a lot of things going for this property and I'm not sure what has changed since we used to stay there in the 90's and 00's, but something has definitely changed for the worse. The vending machines are out...

The only good thing in this hotel is the location its really in the center of the city and a walking distance to most sightseeing places. If this place want to get better and better they have to change their unhelpful staff once i asked the girl at the reception of the possibility to book 2 more nights at the...

Location is perfect but other things are not good. It deserves 3 point only for location. Breakfast is not very well. Rooms are disaster. Wifi is not free. Even if you pay wifi cost you cant enter internet very well from you room. Reception is not cheerfull.

VERY noisy, lot of young people running, shouting and slamming doors. Squeaky floors, felt like somebody was walking in the room. Not very clean. An extra bed was folded in the room and made it even smaller. The only positive thing is the location. I would not recommended this hotell to anyone over 25 years.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
