Very, very good location - 10 mins walk to Old Town and a few minutes walk from a Metro station (Namesti Republiky). Very close to a taxi stand as well. Rooms are very basic, and wifi is only available for free downstairs (if you want to use wifi in your room it's 3 EUR per device for 24 hours). Staff... More

The rooms are nice size and certainly comfortable. The pool area is awesome, good size and nice open area. They have a lot of things going for this property and I'm not sure what has changed since we used to stay there in the 90's and 00's, but something has definitely changed for the worse. The vending machines are out... More

The only good thing in this hotel is the location its really in the center of the city and a walking distance to most sightseeing places. If this place want to get better and better they have to change their unhelpful staff once i asked the girl at the reception of the possibility to book 2 more nights at the... More

Location is perfect but other things are not good. It deserves 3 point only for location. Breakfast is not very well. Rooms are disaster. Wifi is not free. Even if you pay wifi cost you cant enter internet very well from you room. Reception is not cheerfull.

VERY noisy, lot of young people running, shouting and slamming doors. Squeaky floors, felt like somebody was walking in the room. Not very clean. An extra bed was folded in the room and made it even smaller. The only positive thing is the location. I would not recommended this hotell to anyone over 25 years.

Affordable! Unless your a student (in spirit, at least) you won't really few at home. Staff's unpleasant (meaning rude) and doesn't really care for 'your experience'. Breakfast is basic for an continental. Location saves it all...Wi-fi is annoying slow and very expensive.

The hotel is in the central of the city. The furniture is old but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and it was good and simple. The WIFI is free of charge but only in the lobby. In conclusion: cheap and simple, recommended.

The hotel is really close to the city center/bus/railway station. Right next to supermarkets, outdoor markets, bars, restaurants and shopping mall. Clean, quiet rooms with old furniture. Breakfast was included and good. WIFI is free of charge only in lobby, in the room You have to pay. If you'r looking for something cheap and cheerful right in the centre this... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
