A couple of friends and us stayed here for 3 nights and were not disappointed in the slightest. The staff, from the moment we arrived until we left, could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautifully appointed; our friends upgraded to a junior suite but we had a normal double, except there was nothing 'normal' about...

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Prague. The rooms are sumptuous and the staff are incredibly attentive. The breakfasts are gorgeous with every taste catered for. There were people coming from other hotels to the Art Deco for breakfast. Although we didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner, the dining room was always full. If you...

Let me begin with the small fact that the professional pictures do not represent the actual state of the hotel. It's not the newest one in the neighbourhood and it might need a few touch ups. Before agreeing on a room make sure to check and smell it! Our suite was a non-smoking one but there was a clear smell...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Art Deco Hotel over Valentines weekend this year. We stayed for four nights and everything about the hotel was excellent. Our welcome upon arrival, the room, breakfast, proximity to the city centre, the bar, the staff, and the dinner we ate in the hotel was outstanding. All the hotel amenities were modern and...

This is the second time I have stayed at the Art Deco Imperial hotel and I don't think I would stay anywhere else when visiting Prague. The hotel is absolutely stunning, the rooms are very nice (except the bathroom is TINY) and the hotel service is excellent. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. The restaurant is absolutely...

Stayed here for 5 days. Booked hotel and flights through Jet2holidays the standard of hotel was exceptional. The Art Deco Imperial is a beautiful characterful Hotel with Arts & Crafts movement period features throughout but with sympathetic modern facilities. High standard rooms and décor throughout. On arrival greeted with polite friendly staff at reception with quick and simple check-in. Porter...

Over many years I have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world - and this does not match that rating - more 3-4 star. The Art Deco original features are interesting and the Reception staff (Martin, in particular ) were very very helpful and friendly. The rooms are average in size unless you pay for the upgrade ( it...

the hotel checkin was nice and smooth. concierge was very helpful in pointing out from where to take the tram to get to the tourist places. the rooms are very nicely laid out and bathrooms were spotless. breakfast has a buffet with not a wide variety of items but has just enough of everything. we travelled with Jet2 holidays for this vacation, whereas we normally book independt flights and accommodation. We had an excellent room. Lots of space, large bed, a separate toilet as well as the bathroom, the usual complimentaries. It was a shower over a bath and although it was lovely I did find the drop to step out was rather steep....

Stayed at the Art Deco for a long weekend. Prague has a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, and from arrival at the hotel this proved to be correct. I've done a fair bit of travel, and I'd have to rate Martin who greeted us at reception up there with the best and most professional greetings I've experienced. We were...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
