After a long route you can only expect to get to your hotel and have a good night sleep. That did not happen at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel. When we got there we were giving the enormous surprise that we would have to sleep at another hotel, the Boscolo hotel (amazing hotel), because supposedly a guest had flooded a...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry we could not provide your stay as originally booked. Some technical situations may not be foreseen in advance and as you wrote yourself, the room had to be put out of service in the middle of a very busy season. Nothing outstanding for a 5 star hotel. BeCause a problem with our room they sent us to the boscolo hotel, so we had the chance to compair. Imperial you better get moving. Boscolo is much better than you. (Service, menu restaurant, service hours etc). We had a bad time in your hotel. I will never come again to this hotel.

Old world charm and beauty. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The attached restaurant was a treat with many dishes reflecting local cuisine. Easy walk to many attractions and transportation.

The hotel was nice, excellent room, very large and large comfortable bed and quiet room facing courtyard inside as the noise from the trams would have disturbed us. The location is not in the old city of Prague and is approx a 20 minute walk to the old city which this was the only negative point for this hotel. Staff...

We stayed for several days at the hotel Imperial in Prague and enjoyed the stay. There are some issues that a traveller must know about. sppecifically, the hotel is on a major tram line and the front rooms are quite noisy throughout the night. indeed the trams cause noise and significant rumbling. We weere given " ear plugs" when we...

The hotel was nice, clean and very convenient to get around town. They also will arrange for private car service for the airport which was the same price as a cab and MUCH nicer. I could hear almost everything from next door through the adjoining door, I would suggest asking for a room that does not have it. The restaurant...

My wife and I spent three nights at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel in early July. It is a beautiful hotel and within walking distance of all the major sites. The hotel restaurant is top notch. We ate there one night for dinner and had breakfast each day of our stay. The breakfast buffet, with all types of meats, fruits,...

Wonderful hotel with a great breakfast spread and restaurant. The decor of the lobby and hotel is great, and felt quite chuffed when the food tour we did visited the hotel for their goulash and dill soup! All in all, a memorable stay in a wonderful city.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
