the rooms are very good, clean, quiet and functional. the staff is very available and pleasant. the location of the hotel is really prafit, in the center of the city near the metro and the old town. the restaurant and the bar are very functional and perfect for a pleasant stay
Such a lovely friendly welcoming hotel near to the Palladium centre and a short walk to Old Town Square. I always stay here on trips to Prague, every 2 months or so. Breakfast has a great choice with really lovely staff in attendance and a wide choice of items - always a worry when you're vegetarian but never an issue here. Front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet, well laid out with useful plug points next to bed-great for charging electrics, a minibar, kettle and coffee. Looking forward to the next visit - thanks again.
My husband booked the Art Deco as a surprised for my birthday… I love the art deco period so the hotel was on my wish list of places to visit. It’s a stunning hotel, central to all the sights in Prague, when you enter it’s amazing to see all the art deco features and dramatic reception and stair case. We were booked into a junior suite room 209A, we arrived early and three hours before check in however our room was ready so great that we could dump our stuff before exploring the city. Our room was a corner suite on the second floor… absolutely gorgeous, it had three massive windows overlooking the Main Street (quite noisy and you could here the tram all the time but not a bother for us). Bathroom was small but everything you need only issue was the entrance had a lip on the floor which was a definite toe stubber if you forgot about it… which we both did once or twice. The bed was a super king but not very comfortable… way too soft for our liking but that’s down to preference. It also had a duvet far too small for the actual bed. Mini Bar is complimentary when staying in a suite…. Remember to remind reception when checking out as they attempted to charge us! We were really eager to book an evening meal at the hotel as the menu looked good abd reviews were great…. No such luck, we tried to book the day we arrived and we’re told it was fully booked, advised to pop down later in the evening as they sometimes get cancellations… so at around 7 I went back to ask if we could eat and the gentleman I spoke to was rather rude and abrupt and said he couldn’t help that they were fully booked all evening…. There were 7 tables empty at this point… I got the impression he just wasn’t interested… such a shame. We had added breakfast into our booking and were looking forward to seeing what it was like…. Total shambles both mornings .. queued up for over 20 minutes to get a table and the selection was really poor…. The plate given to anyone having the bed and breakfast was a tiny side plate which was useless. There was continental breakfast but also bacon, eggs, sausage but quality wasn’t great alongside the service ….. BUT if you paid for breakfast at the hotel you would get your food on a normal sized plate and the quality of the food was far superior along with the service received from the staff. This isn’t a cheap hotel after all it’s a 5 star but I do think it lacks in certain areas and in hindsight is very experience for the experience you get. I’m glad we visited but we wouldn’t recommend to our friends.…
The hotel is located near old Prague century centre (around 10 minutes walk) in a central location of the “new city”. It’s a beautiful 1910 building. The interior is beautiful and charming. Rooms seems all to be very recently totally renovated and are lovely. Rooms to the front face a street that has trams (light rail) like most of Prague so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room facing the back. There is no view but it is very quiet. Our executive room was huge but even standard rooms we saw where is fair size. Beautiful bathroom. The reception staff was super helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast at the in house Imperial Cafe (and excellent afternoon coffee and cakes as well). Bar is a bit crowded and small in the evenings so you may not find a free sit. Drinks are decent. Overall a very classic well put old style 5 stars hotel.…
This is a beautiful first class Art Deco Hotel in the center of Prague. It also has first class dining at the attached Imperial Cafe. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for that special visit to Prague.
Nothing to complain about here. Nice rooms, nice staff and nice enough breakfast. Good selection of breads, very good oatmeal! Good coffee and attentive staff. Complimentary bottle of redwine upon arrival. :) A nice experience. Good location for sightseeing in oldtown.
This hotel is definitely WOW having booked”5 star” hotels in various countries in the past I was not expecting to much so as to avoid any disappointment but I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was really lovely and exactly as described. We arrived early but our room was ready and check in was friendly and quick. We had an executive room at the front of the hotel on the first floor and despite the reviews I had read regarding the noise from passing traffic and trams did not get disturbed in anyway. The restaurant is truly amazing and service impeccable. The leisure facilities are very good with a sauna and steam room and gym with cardiovascular machines and multi gym type machine so ideal to keep in shape especially with all the amazing bars and restaurants around. The restaurant is very popular so I would advise pre booking to avoid disappointment, that said there is a vast array of options nearby. The hotel location is ideal for exploring with nothing more than about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Check out was smooth and they are more than happy to look after your luggage so you can enjoy your last day without having to worry about it.…
Our stay in Art Deco Hotel was outstanding. The quality, speed and customer advocacy exceeded our expectations as well as the beautiful building, rooms and decoration. The support, collaboration and service from the staff was excellent throughout the process. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back if the opportunity arise.
We stayed at Art Deco hotel for a weekend in Prag. The service was excellent, very nice concierge service and the breakfast and restaurant was good, not only the food supply but also the interior. Nice room and quiet. We will definitely come back. Near shopping, museum and other attractions.
A beautiful art deco hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room facilities, cleanliness and comfort could not be faulted. Within walking distance of most sites and easy transport to others. Would definitely stay again.
