Hotel Orion gives you a very pleasant experience. I and my wife spend 3 nights here. It's full value for money and we were looking for a budget place to stay and this was the perfect place to stay. Located in a residential area. This place is like an apartment stay with all amenities of a hotel. Staff was very...

6 of us went in January this year, had a fantastic time! The rooms are a little basic, but very clean & have everything you need. A short walk from lots of bars & restaurants, but in a nice quiet area. There are a few nice bars in the immediate vicinity if you don't fancy a longer walk.

As others mentioned: my room had a separate kitchen with two burner stove, small refrigerator, electric carafe, and basic dishes and pots/pans. The refrigerator actually worked so well that my liquid items froze solid. Breakfast buffet was sizeable. As a vegetarian I did have things to eat but the hot items were usually meat based. Some excellent bars and restaurants...

The room is very spacious and there is separated kitchen with refrigerator and basic kitchen utensils. The bathroom is clean but old. Bed is quite comfortable. The TV set comes from ancient time. Breakfast isn't good. Maybe fresh but fried piece of "something" didn't taste good. Today was pasta with meat (?) Wifi is quite good. Good location. Friendly friendly...

Stayed at The Orion Hotel for 5 days this October. The room was like a small suite with a separate kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, electric hot water carafe and basic utensils, pots and pans to cook. The entire suite was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk was staffed 24/7 and there was always someone...

We stayed at the hotel Orion for three weeks in January 2016. When we arrived we were met by a taxi organised by the hotel. The driver was friendly and pointed out interesting features of our drive which took about 30 minutes. When we arrived at our hotel we were welcomed by helpful lady on the 24 hour desk. Every...

Just returned from spending three nights here. We were lucky enough to have the room with the rooftop terrace, just stunning! Fantastic location, about 5 min walk to the metro. There are some fab restaurants nearby too. Our room had a basic kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom as well as a large terrace, everything was spotless. We stayed B&B and...

Very good hotel, quiet, professional staff, excellent breakfast. A fine basecamp for exploring Prague by foot or by public transport, outstanding location (within 300-400 meters from Namesti Miru place, where you can take the Metro or some Tram lines to all parts of the city). Located in a hilly, mostly-residential street, more than 15-20 pubs within reach (the closest being...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
