Arrived to this lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful in choices and well prepared. I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel. Quite saddened of how Covid restrictions at the present time are affecting the occupancy of Prague hotels. I wish this hotel well for the future.
Location is close to the city center, but quiet neighborhood. Reception, especially Mr. Aleš was very helpful and friendly. Thank you. Our room was clean with flat screen TV. Breakfast was great, many variations of food. We would highly recommend.
Mamaison The location is near to the Wenceslas square and major attractions. Prague is walkable city and the subway /tram system is very convenient. IP paplova and Muzuem is the nearest at this hotel. There's a nearby Asian convenient store down the street where you can buy rice (if you want to cook rice or anything ,sausages maybe? :) ). The apartment is complete with all the kitchen facilities, from the frying fan, utensils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher machine -everything! This is a good place to stay for longer stays (but of course dont miss out trying the Czechia local foods). There is also a washing machine and dryer at 4th floor which you can use for washing your dirty clothes ( applicable for those staying longer or if you just wanted to have all your clothes clean). You need to buy the detergent at the reception for 30 Czech crowns. This room is actually just the opposite of our room (402) that's why it's convenient to me when I washed some of my clothings. I am just not sure if the Hotel rooms have the same facilities. The breakfast also had a good selection of food and they're quite good too. I will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Prague and will stay here again if ever I will be visiting Prague someday soon. Two things I didn't like... first are the people who shouts at night outside the street. During the first day, it was so loud! I think it's already common in Prague? Also, about the water in the shower, for the duration of my stay, early in the morning like 5.30 to 6.30Am.,the water in the shower is boiling hot !! It's almost scalding (I mean it!). I need to run the water for half an hour to almost an hour till it gets a little colder. so basically I wasted my time waking up early just to wait for the water to be bearable and take a bath! Ugh.…
This hotel was a hidden gem! We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready yet but it the staff were lovely and put our luggage safe while we went to explore! The staff gave us a map and directed us on the short walk to the centre! The room was lovely, clean, warm and the beds were so comfy! The hotel reception had a shop in which allowed you to get food or drink at any time! They also had a lovely open fire in reception which was fantastic to sit by with a drink after a cold January day exploring!
For our trip to Prague we had originally booked to stay at the Mamaison Residence Hotel in Belgicka. However when we got there the hotel had an issue with their elevator and we had to be relocated to the Mamaison Hotel in Downtown Prague. This was a fantastic move for us as our apartment was well equipped, had access to a self service free laundry and was as centrally located as the original one. What really made the difference was the fantastic friendly staff and in particular I would like to call out one of the ladies at reception Ms Libuse Salanska. She helped us reorganise our scheduled tour pick up and , transfer to the train station as our location had changed. Then the detailed local advise, her personal contact details in case we got stuck and her email address too. When things go wrong from time to time, it is how you recover that makes the difference. Take a bow Mamaison Downton Prague: with staff like Libuse you will always be a winner. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again one day! Great location, staff, breakfast and value…
Location close to main public transportation as well as relatively short walk to city center. Lobby market open 24hs for quick meal and drinks. Staff not always friendly. Cleaning is very poor: Room very dusty, not cleaned on daily bases as well as towels not changed. Also towels on breakfast tables are dirty. Spa is available but nothing is free of charge for hotel guests.
First of all big thanks to all staff members for good attitude, politeness and readiness to help. Good point is perfect hotel’s location, very close to the center in calm area. Breakfast was also good and enough variation of food. Disappointed in cleaning, very dusty, floors wasn’t washed at all during the week! Same with linens and towels, it was changed only after one week of staying! Tidy of bed was not made by cleaning staff, usually in all hotels it is going. Strange but once they just took (not changed )one towel and the key from the room when we were out of the room. It is first time in my life when in 4* hotel fridge and room shoes absent. No bottle water provided. Take it into account please for improve your hotel impression.
First getaway with partner, Prague didn't fail to impress. Hotel was wonderful. Short walk from the Metro. Located down a side street. Greeted by Gabriel at the front desk who was beyond helpful. Gave us a map and pointed us in the right direction of places. Hotel room was beautiful, they have recently been refurbished. Apologies for messy photos, they were taken morning we left. Would highly recommend the hotel, reasonable price too!
Hotel surprises you from the entrance with the hallway. Room is very large, with kitchen and relaxing area, apart of bedroom. Everything is clean and the colors are very relaxing. Position of the hotel is very convenient for the ones who wants to explore Prague without car.
Booked this hotel based on location, price and the good reviews. The reviews are a bit outdated I think...I would guess the whole place has had a serious make over. From the moment you walk in , it screams modern and spacious. Big seating area, trees, huge murals, crisp clean decor. Check in is smooth, 24 hour bar attached to reception. Friendly staff. Open (electronic) fire place in the bar area. First impressions are definitely good! Room was massive - no kitchenette - wouldnt have used it anyway. I`ve stayed in rooms smaller than the corridor leading to the room one you get through the door. HAve to scan your card in the lift which has lcd screens telling you the weather. Tasteful modern downlighting. Full on wetrooms for bathrooms with monsoon showers. Our room appeared to be a disabled room..dont know if they are all like that. Didnt ask for one, but its not an issue at all. Seriously comfy bed. USB charging port. Flat screen TV. Black white and grey colour scheme - so very neutral City tax was about 60 czk for 2 nights...so nothing really. If you get this hotel at a good price book without hesitation. Its superb! (possibly a less home from home feel that the pics imply and more a high class modern hotel at a very good price - as i said i think its very recently been modernised!). Everything you would want from a hotel and then some. …
