Hotel Pav garners appreciation for its clean, modern rooms and comfortable amenities, though noise and the lack of air conditioning are occasional drawbacks noted by some guests. The hotel's dedication to cleanliness is repeatedly praised, with travelers highlighting immaculate rooms and facilities. We stayed for three nights in February 2020. We booked direct with the hotel a few months in advance and found the price to be unbelievably great value. We paid just over £100 (including the city tax payable on check out) for three nights bed and breakfast with a welcome bottle of wine in the room on arrival. Location was great, we have visited Prague before but we were travelling with friends who hadn't and they all found the location excellent too. Easy walking distance to all major sites and attractions but in a quiet side street off the main drags. Nice bars and restaurants on the same street as the hotel- particularly nice cocktails at Bar 23.
Check in was simple and straight forward. Our double room was large, clean and modern. Only slight issue was that there wasn't a shower screen over the bath meaning the floor would get wet when the shower was used. This wasn't a huge problem, it just seemed strange. Our friends who also stayed and had showers over their baths didn't have shower screens either.
Beds were comfy and the room was cleaned daily. The room was quite warm so we slept with the windows open and other than the odd bit of street noise, we slept well. There were signs in the lift notifying guests that there were major refurbishment works ongoing and the management apologised for any inconvenience caused. We stayed in room 302 overlooking the street and had no issues with noise but friends staying on the same floor overlooking the side/rear of the building were disturbed on the second morning. They mentioned this to reception and they were swiftly moved to another room which was as comfortable and clean as the first.
Breakfast was served until 10am. We did not try breakfast but friends that did said it was a good, varied continental style breakfast with plenty of meats, cheeses, breads and fruit.
We were able to leave our bags in the secure luggage room free of charge on the last day and we enjoyed relaxing with drink in the bar whilst waiting for our pre-booked airport transfer. We all agreed that if we were to visit Prague again, Hotel Pav would be our 1st choice for accommodation as it seemed to offer absolutely everything you could want in a hotel for a short city break. We were a group of four couples travelling together for a short break- it was perfect.

Booked a double room that was far bigger than we imagined it would be. The room was spotlessly clean and overlooked the main street. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area - there could be some street noise from passers by and road traffic but this was largely cut out when the windows were closed.

The hotel was in an excellent location for picking up trams and the metro to explore any part of Prague. Public transport is cheap, efficient, clean and reliable.

Breakfast was included in the hotel rate and offered a very good choice of hot and cold food with a self serve buffet.

In summary a great hotel.

We stayed four (4) nights at Hotel Pav in March 2020. The staff was very helpful for our check in as well as to help book tours and purchase hop on/off tickets. The location was central enough to walk to tourist areas/local trams and a hop on/off bus stop was approx 5 minutes away. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day and there were plenty of hot & cold options. All areas of the hotel and our room were very clean. For Americans, there were no washcloths but plenty of towels. Our room (115C) was spacious for two (2) travelers with plenty of closet/shelf space. Unfortunately, the late night street noise from two (2) local bars was very disruptive even with the windows closed. PS - there is a small market directly across the street.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, in the city centre less than 5 minutes walk to the river and 15 minutes easy walk to Charles Bridge. Close to many good restaurants and bars. There is a charming breakfast room and the breakfast has hot and cold items. Our room was one of the smallest although we had booked directly on the hotel website. There are some lacking finishing touches which should be looked into to improve guest experience. The sink and shower were blocked for the first few days. The toilet seat was broken. The safe was locked shut. This was all rectified but should have been checked before the room was offered to guests. Although we had requested a tea/coffee tray it was not in our room and once received it was never refilled once during our 5 day stay. Reception said the housekeeping staff would refill, and when we asked housekeeping they said ask reception. For two people there were two bath towels and only one hand towel. No face flannels. None of the usual bathroom accessories/amenities such as shower caps, toiletries. No housekeeping although we placed the sign on the door. The room wasn't clean, we found several items under the bed such as someone's glasses and a remote control. The pillows and duvet were a bit smelly. So a mixed bag, great location but a simple things that need to be fixed.

Booked as a last minute getaway and went with this hotel due to the location. Can not fault the hotel at all. Our room was spacious, clean, modern and was good value for money. The shower was great with good pressure (always a bonus when u have long hair 😉). The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We were able to use the locked luggage room on arrival and departure at no extra cost. Lots of choice for breakfast including croissants, cereals, eggs, cheese, yoghurt and fruit. Pannis from the bar were tasty and good value for money.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if you were visiting Prague as very close to the main attractions once you get your bearings. Thank you for such a great trip, we will return.

Hotel Pav is in a perfect central location. The twin room was huge and decorated to a very high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable for the standard of the room and service we received - £34 for the night including breakfast. The breakfast was excellent too, lots of options and great quality. I was so impressed with everything about this hotel, I can’t recommend enough.

The Hotel is conveniently located for all you want to see in Prague.
The tram connections are close by and once you gain an understanding of the tram map are a great way to see the entire city.
We followed the advice in a previous review of this hotel on how to get to the hotel from the airport and despite it taking an hour and a half including walking with 2 cases we arrived. We booked a transfer back @ €34 ( payable to the driver in euros, he had change thankfully) however I have heard of occasions where you pay with a €50 note and no change is available in euro!! The hotel could not change €50 for me ? Don’t know why?
The rooms are well appointed good beds and bedding only one pillow provided though. Shower good and easy to operate. Comfortable sleep with little noise. Owners/ management please sort out the chairs in the breakfast room as the legs when the chair is pushed back makes a scraping sound on the floor and with 40 odd chairs creates a rumble we could hear from our room. Some felt or soft material will do. Breakfast is adequate but get there before 09h00 as it gets busy. Many tables of 6 that you share with other twos or fours, ok with us but might not suit others.
No soft eggs here I’m afraid all boiled and poached hard and well in advance. There is one matter that needs comment on breakfast. On our last day we had breakfast as the door opened. The hot food in the Bain Marie server was cold on top indicating that the food had not been heated first and then once hot placed in the server. The bacon was cold on top as were the potatoes. This can have nasty consequences and I hope management address this urgently.
We found the reception staff were although polite were very direct and short with you. I had one request where I was advised to come back as we are having a shift change now. Lack of genuine hospitality with a smile made it seem awkward to ask for assistance !
No in room tea/coffee facility in the room, available though from the hotel @ €5 per day. Was never replenished, we bought our own milk and teabags. Not worth 5 euros a day, we really only needed a kettle but we were told no it’s € 5 per night. Some individually wrapped biscuits would have been a nice add on and value proposition. There is a nice enough restaurant across the road I forget the name, Czech and euro cuisine with good service. Hotel Pav needs an injection of friendliness, smiling faces and a bit more of a can do attitude. Starting with the welcome and departure.

This hotel represents good value for money with the room I was allocated being large and well furnished. On the down side, there was no mini-fridge, although one of the cupboards in the room was clearly designed to accommodate a small fridge. Similarly, there was no tea and coffee making facilities although to be fair, a notice stated that if you wanted them they would be provided. I would also add that the breakfast buffet was of a reasonable standard.

The hotel location is very good, being fairly central (~5 min walk from Wenceslas Square), with the nearest metro stop being “Narodni Trida” on metro line B. If arriving by air, then take bus number 100 (the stop is at the front of the main terminal building) to metro station “Zilcin” (the first stop on metro line B) and then stay on line B until “Narodni Trida”. The hotel is 5-6 minutes on foot from this metro station. Note that it is cheaper to buy metro tickets in the airport (the information desk sells them) than purchasing on the bus, with the ticket being valid on both bus and metro.

I stayed here for 4 days with 3 friends during our Prague city trip. Check-in was super easy and the rooms were very clean and modern looking.
The location is also 10/10, everything we wanted to visit was in walking distance.
Breakfast was good too with a lot of variety.

The perfect location for everything Prague, deceivingly large and accommodating from 1st impressions.

Our room was clearly one of the recently refurbished being of very high standard bathroom with heated flooring and the most amazing tub to soak those tired legs.

Beds were comfy and lots of floor space, so even with 3 adults didn’t feel cramped.

Only couple of trivial criticisms were that the towels were a little tired and could’ve done with tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Only a short walk to the Metro and trams making it easy to get to the centre and beyond or only a 10/15 minute stroll to the main shopping streets.

Breakfast does get very busy, either go down before 8 or close to 9:30 to kiss the rush. Food was typical European buffet, fresh and abundant.

Overall - excellent value for money
