4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here recently with my sister and a friend while visiting Prague. The hotel is clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance to the main square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle etc so a great location for getting out and about. Hotel arranged for us to be picked up and dropped back to the airport so that was very... More

We were unsure what area to stay in but this area is definitely the best. The surrounding area is much less touristy and seems more authentic than other hotel areas near the centre. Some great bars near by, the favourite being PoPo. Also a mini market opposite the hotel which came in handy for late night trips as it's open... More

we have been to loads of best western hotels in the UK, but this was our first abroad, the room was ok on the ground floor, we are platinum best western members but the staff would not except us as members as we had booked through Jet 2, so did not get any extras as normal, we did not know... Stayed here for 3 nights in March. I only needed a single bed but I was given a big king size bed with 2 individual comforters. On the right side of the bed, there was a large desk/chair against windowless wall. Free coffee/teas and electric pot were underneath the desk. On the left side of the bed, a small wardrobe... More

Ok so the room was actually a triple though made up as a double and announced as a single by the receptionist...... After lots of complaints the receptionist mysteriously found the second room our company had booked... Think the hotel wad (or maybe still is?) Set up for stag parties and school trips.. Definitely we saw both on our check... More

'Not advertised'. OK. So, never again. And I'll advertise for you on TripAdvisor. They have no A/C and the rooms have no ventilation whatsoever. Unbearably hot (in Septmber). Extremely basic room. No way is this 3-star. Noisy. One of the worst lodging experiences in my traveling life.

The positives: We had a big room on the first floor, separate bedroom and sitting room and a small balcony. There was free WiFi which worked well. The two gentleman staff on reception were very helpful when we wanted to get to the Bone Church in Kutna Hora via train. Definitely worth a visit. The safes in each room are... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
