The building of the Hotel Clementin inherently belongs to Prague history, where the first mention dates back to 1360. Rarity is the minimum width of the house (3.28 m), making it the narrowest preserved house in Prague. Take the advantage of the ideal hotel location on the medieval Royal route, connecting the most beautiful places in Prague - Old Town Square, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle for many centuries. In the heart of the Old Town.

We are currently staying at this beautiful hotel and will unfortunately be heading home tomorrow. What a fantastic hotel this has been, it is in the perfect location for sight seeing and is run by a excellent team! All staff at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming on our stay. We arrived earlier then check in time and Romana showed us where to put our bags and gave us a map of Prague, when we returned some hours later she had already taken our bags to the room which was another lovely gesture in addition to a welcome drink of Prosecco and a leaving present of norbets donuts which was was so kind, and it’s the little touches like these which means that we will definitely be returning to this hotel and we will be recommending it to friends and family. In regards to the hotel facilities, the hotel was completely spotless and always smelt so fresh, the breakfast had a lovely selection of cold and warm food and the room (101) was always lovely and warm. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay so special, hope to see you again soon

Despite only having 9 rooms, the Clementin Hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. We arrived late in the evening due to delays in our flight and the lovely receptionist had stayed behind after her work hours to greet us. An extremely nice touch was a bottle of Prosecco and some delicious treats awaiting us on arrival. Our room, whilst not the biggest we have stayed in, was spotlessly clean and it was kept that way for the whole of our stay. The breakfast was plentiful, offering a range of hot food plus a continental option, along with Prosecco if you fancied an early morning tipple! The hotel is a 5 minute walk from both Wenceslas Square and the King Charles Bridge, so you really couldn’t be any more central.
Prague is a lovely city and we would definitely return and would have no hesitation in returning to the Clementin Hotel, thank you so much for everything!

Ideal location. Rooms, as expected are not big in 101. But if you want to stay in the old town, that's what you get. What makes this place fabulous is Romana and Jitka. The minute you check in, you are family. They give you all information you need even help you with transport and printing info if you want to do your own trip. Breakfast is complete, with salad, fruits, the best espresso machine with lots of options, bread, cold cuts pastries, cheese and hot meals. Service in the breakfast is excellent as Mina, is always giving and serving. There is strict health protocols since it is buffet, they provide you disposable gloves to hold the serving spoons. When we are in a rush to pack the sandwhiches as we have early flight, she makes sure to hand you saran wrap, foil and bags to go. Everything is in the room from slippers to sewing kits.
The shower has some leak on the floor but the housekeeping gives us extre floor towerls so the bathroom floors are dry.

Recently stayed for two nights in three rooms (9 in hotel) with two other couples. We were welcomed by Jitka who explained all we needed to know about the hotel and also pointed out good restaurants and points of interest nearby. The rooms are very very cosy, warm and inviting. The beds are outstanding for a comfortable nights sleep. Can be a little tight for luggage but we made it work, as the staff and rooms far outweighed this very small problem. There is a small lift if you are on the upper floors.

The breakfast provided every morning is a perfect way to start the day. It includes cereals, a small variety of hot foods, cheeses, meats, pastries, breads, fresh fruit, great coffee and teas, juices, etc. If you don't find something you like, I would be very surprised.

Romana was the staff member on reception for the rest of our stay and, once again, she went above and beyond. Every staff member we met was awesome and welcoming including the lovely ladies preparing breakfast and housekeeping.

The location of this hotel is within 3-5 minutes from Charles Bridge and the square, so perfect for exploring Prague. Our train to leave Prague was at 10pm and Romana allowed us to store our luggage and use the bathroom facilities on the lower level. We also used the breakfast room as a means to relax prior to our train travel. Romana kindly offered refreshments of which we were very grateful prior to leaving.

Our group of six cannot speak highly enough of Hotel Clementin and the wonderful staff they have. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague for a more personal stay rather than a larger hotel. NOTHING was too much trouble.

Thank you Jitka and Romana and other staff members for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. Hotel Clementin deserves its high rating on Trip Advisor.

This 9 bed "slim" hotel was excellent in every way. The welcome was warm, excellent & helpful. Our room was average size, modern decor and beautifully furnished plus it included USB sockets avoiding those adaptors. Located in the centre of the Old Town within 5 minutes walk to most of the key attractions. Breakfast room is small so avoid rush hour. A full display of hot and cold goodies which should suit most people. Very clean, wonderful staff, Highly recommend

Jitka was extremely efficient in helping to organise my arrival so that I knew how to get access to the hotel at 3am following a delayed flight. I saw her every day of my stay and she was always helpful, friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. The room was beautiful and had everything I could have wanted at a very reasonable price. The location of the hotel could not be better to get to all of the main touristic sights. At the same time, it is quiet at night so you get a good rest. I was impressed by the breakfast which was included in the price - the bottle of prosecco for guests to help themselves to was a lovely touch. I am sure I will be back to Prague and Hotel Clementin again soon. Thank you, Jitka, for the passion you put into your business and the way you make your guests feel welcomed.

We spent a few nights here in February before the Pandemic and the hotel and staff were wonderful. The hotel is perfectly located and we found Prague breathtakingly pretty. We didn't sadly have a view from our room but knew that before confirming our booking. We arrived in the evening when the normal checkout was closed but the instructions for checking in worked really well. Breakfast was lovely in a small breakfast room - it was buffet style with lots of choice. The buildings are awe inspiring; we did a walking tour and cruise down the river - I would highly recommend this small hotel for a stay in this beautiful city.. The rooms and ensuite are well equipped and the staff delightful.

As someone who works in travel, I know that a hotel can make or break a trip. I always look for something with charm, soul and comfort.. Hotel Clementin has this is abundance! Down a quaint medieval street, close to everything and the narrowest hotel in Prague! This means just a handful of spacious and well appointed rooms and they do have an elevator, albeit cosy, it did make us giggle! The room was so comfortable and had gorgeous, soft decor. Windows opened out over flowered window boxes . Breakfast included, looked wonderful but the bed was so comfy we didn’t get up for it! Toiletries included and piping hot water. What makes this place however, are people like Jitka! We arranged to be picked up through her and to be sure our ride to the airport arrived on time at 6:45am, she stayed in the hotel! For ambience, warmth, care, service and comfort, this is the place to stay in Prague and we are already planning our next trip!

Hotel Clementin was excellent! I went for a 5 day break with my mum and we both loved the hotel. The hotel is exactly as the pictures show, its clean and modern. The rooms are a good size with everything you would need. The breakfast service is much better than what most other hotels offer as it was both hot and cold options (eggs, bacon sausages etc) and the breakfast itself was lovely. The hotel locations is also perfect, its walking distance to pretty much all the main attractions and its in a bustling area which we loved as it was lively but you cant hear any noise when in the hotel. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit and would definitely go back as it is also really great value for money!

Like Hermia in Midsummer Night's Dream, this is a little gem. Perfect for a 1-3 day stay in which you want to explore the city. I saw the hotel on a video about unique places in Prague. It has the narrowest street front of any hotel in the city, but it is quite convenient to Old Town and all the tourist spots, tucked away just off the path from The Charles Bridge to the Main Square, so ideal as a base for sight seeing. The rooms are small, although I got moved from a tiny one to a medium sized one once Romana saw how big I am (6'3" or 190 cm). The breakfast room had 6 tables for two, so I suppose if everyone ate at once it could get "crowded" but the compactly displayed selection was actually comparable to what I have seen at bigger hotels. The lift is small too (there's a theme here) but the key factor is that there IS a lift and you will need to climb 6 or 7 steps at the most - I recommend exploring the staircase once just for the experience. All the fixtures are quite modern, beds are comfortable, wifi worked fine, nice sized bathroom, mini fridge, reasonable prices on the stock in the fridge, TV, USB ports, quiet rooms. Recommended for location, service, and charming presentation.

Is there an elevator/lift?
Answer from AVEHotels
Dear Sirs, thank you for your enquiry! Yes, there is a small elevator (as Dorit S correctly mentioned, thank you!). But to reach some of the rooms you have to use one flight of stairs as well. 7-19:00 my colleagues will gladly help you with the luggage though. The building is a part of UNESCO´s protected heritage, so alterning the building´s structure by installing certain equipment is unfortunately not allowed to us. I hope that I was able to answer your question, should you have more, please do not hesitate to contact us again anytime! Wishing you a pleasant journey to our marvelous city, E.Aljanabi, QC Manager
