I recently stayed 2 nights in the hotel to attend an event. My room, which was very large, was located in the upper building. Patio doors opened out onto a lovely terrace. Bonus having a coffee machine. The room was reached by funicular rail - views over Prague were fabulous, particularly at night. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Plenty... More

This hotel is really great. NH were so kind and upgraded my room to an executive up on the high building. I have to say that the cable was very cool indeed. The bed was extremely comfortable, massive high roof room with a beautiful view of the city. The only downside to this hotel is its location. It's a bit... More

An interesting hotel divided into two sections with a funicular train between the two. Stayed in the upper building for a conference for a few days and was impressed by the rooms and the service. What would have been lovely city views from the roof terrace were a little obscured by trees but still very nice. Good restaurant, location of... More

It sounded exciting on the website but it turned out to be a disappointing stay: the rooms were sparsely decorated and drafty, the views were OK but you couldn't really see any of the beautiful sites from where the hotel is and the staff weren't very friendly. Also the cart up and down the hill became a nuisance after a... More

I had the task of making sure 8 foreign guests of mine are well served during their stay. Due to religious limitations, I had to make sure special food was prepared. The hotel staff was very pro active, prepared special menus for two full weeks, ensured all their needs are met to the fine minute details. Everyone in NH from the... More

Though a former Mövenpick hotel, it now belongs to the Spanish NH hotel chain, giving quality and service as I’m used to in Spain. Upon arrival I was offered an executive lounge room. Definitely a plus to my stay at the hotel. The executive lounge is located on a second building communicated by cable car, with very pleasant views over... More

I liked the hotel, especially for the price. I stayed at more expensive hotels that offered fewer services. The spa was awesome. The concierge was a BOSS. She provided maps of the city, information about popular tourist attractions; she even booked a tout to Terezin concentration camp for us. The one feature that I could have live without is the... Me and my girlfriend decided to celebrate New Year's Eve in Prague but hotel choice was a huge mistake... the toilet in the room was unclean and the the bath didn't drain the water out. On the New Year's Eve, just before midnight my friends(3 more couples), my girlfriend and I went out to see the fireworks - to our... More
