Holiday Home has a perfect location: 3 stations of metro from Old Town Square, 4 from Prague Castle, 8 from the airport bus 119. The room is basic, clean and quiet. The owners, Vladimir and Dana, are very nice and helpful. Thank you very much!

Solo traveler. I loved this B&B. It was not too near the heart of the city but I love walking and it took me 20 minutes to walk to the city center. The hosts were very nice and gave lots of tips on how to get around. I'll skip the 4 euro breakfast though. I didn't like it. I think... More

Dear Stacey, thank you for choosing our property and for your stay here. We are pleased that you enjoyed your visit and stay. Yes, our breakfast is just wider continental buffet. It costs 3,5 EUR only, it corresponds to the economic kind of our accommodation and it should be affordable also for local clients and other clients with limited budget.... More

Ideally situated in a trendy and quiet district with lots of cafés and restaurants around. Yet close to the Subway and tram to get to the city center. No frill rooms but very spacious and clean; a big bonus is the kitchenette Very friendly owners who really make you feel welcome. And it is cheaper than most alternatives, including AirBnB...... Excellent Quality for the price. Rooms are clean, with linen/towels changed every other day. Kids loved having their beds on their own separate little floor. Great communication regarding airport pick up and late night check in process. Owner was very helpful with local restaurants and transport. Good Wi-Fi. Shared kitchen next to room was well equipped with fridge, crockery.   I've... More

This is the place my friends stay whenever they go back to visit family. For her, it is close to family and the restaurants and bars they like to frequent. For me it was a nice quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist flooded Old Town. The owners are wonderful and will help in any way... More

Found this hotel through Tripadvisor and google and when I looked at the reviews, I was sold. First of all, the hotel is in a residential part of town, and I generally like to stay in such areas because I feel more like "one of the locals," and it tends to be quieter than city centers, and not very far... We stayed here for three nights on a recent visit to Prague and were delighted with our choice. Although not right in the central area, the location is very convenient, and it is easily walkable (e.g. to Wenceslas Square) if you enjoy walking. However, public transport is excellent with a tramstop with a variety of routes less than 100m away.... More

We stayed in Holiday Home B&B on our first trip to Prague. We picked this place more or less randomly and it proved to be great choice. Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighborhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are independent, small family B&B hotel - operated in renovated historical building in excellent location of Prague centre - Prague 2 Vinohrady, popular residential and office zone. All bookings are made directly with our hotel, as we do not use any partners (commissioned brokers). We offer quiet, clean & well located, comfortable accommodation. Our property has modern elevator (in midfloor only), lovely breakfast bar & day reception. All rooms have en-suite bathroom with sink, shower, WC & hairdryer, sat. TV, phone, free WiFi & safebox. All rooms & all the hotel are non-smoking. Breakfast & safe car parking are offered for extra fee. Breakfast (wider continental buffet) is served in breakfast bar in the building. Contracted safe car parking is located in next door block of flats in locked backyard - approx. 200 M from hotel. "Tea/Coffee" kitchenette (fridge, electric kettle, simple dishes) are available next to the room. Once such kitchenette is not available, then the fridge, el. Kettle etc. Are directly in the room. Reception works as a day reception with limited office hours. Guests receive their own keys and they carry them with during all their stay. So they are fully independent, but they can contact us anytime, if necessary. There is mostly somebody on duty in the building - for pre-arranged late arrivals or at least on mobile phone for any emergency. Futher services: Storing luggage at earlier arrival or until late departure or during trips out of Prague. Transportation Service - car transfers from & to airport.
