Had a great stay at Salvator for 3 days. Very nice hotel conveniently located near the train station. Walking distance from Old Town, New Town and other attractions. Great staff - very friendly and courteous. The included breakfast is nice! Would definitely recommend to others and return on my next visit.

I have already stayed in 9 hotels on my European trip and this was the best value at 60Eur with a great buffet breakfast included. One of the best hotels we have stayed in (all mid range). The room was spacious and clean, we used the shared bathroom which was fine. Staff was very friendly and it's the information central... More

We are couple and wanted a fewdays away from the kids in peace. I checked up and asked especially if our room would have both a double bed and its own bathroom. It did and I must say the room was ideal -very spacious and tastefully coloured etc. I must say it was real value for money. I stayed in this hotel with my wife & 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. We found the the staff helpful & courteous. The reception staff had very good English and gave good advice on tourist areas, tours, shopping etc.. They also arranged concert tickets. We ate in the hotel restaurant and found both the food and service good. The... More

Stayed in Salvatore for four days in October 2008. We were three adults and were given two adjoining bedrooms with full bathroom between and a seperate toilet ensuite to one double bedroom. There was a fridge and teamaker in one room. There was loads of space, and bedrooms were very nicely decorated. It is a Czech type building, which for... More

The Hotel Salvator is in a nice location near Namesty Republiky metro stop. It is in walking distance to Old Town Square. We actually walked everywhere, even the castle, from the hotel. The room was nice and clean. They even let us use a portable AC so we wouldn't be so hot at night! There is internet 24/7 in the... More

Tucked away on a small street, Hotel Salvator is a real gem. We chose this hotel after consulting the reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel is excellent value for the money and the staff provided absolutely wonderful customer service. Located in the historical centre, it is walking distance to all the sights, museums restaurants and even a mall, which was... More

This was my second visit to Prague and my second stay at the Salvator. I didn't hesitate when booking this hotel as I remembered it as being a very friendly and comfortable hotel, and I wasn't disappointed this time either. The reception staff in particular are very friendly and their command of language impressive. My main reason for booking this... More

We spent two nights at the Salvator in June 2008. It is a very good value hotel for the budget minded and in a very good location for tourist. The hotel is located on a small street directly behind the Palladium Shopping Mall and just a short walk to the beginning of Old Town. Although somewhat difficult to find, it... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
