Nice location near shopping, restaurants etc. Just quirky enough to be fun. Very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is that you ask for a room away from the front. Our 1st floor room - which would be considered the 2nd floor in the States - fronts the street. LOTS of noise. Trucks, pedestrians etc. Just now a crowd of...

Started with a warm welcome from the reception. Our room was a very good size. Very clean and warm with plenty of hot water. The extras such as the mini bar(fridge), tea making facilities, safe and hair dryer added to our experience. Such a shame that the La Boca restaurant was closed for refurbishment, however breakfast was served in the...

Dlouha is 3 minutes away, and there is a small farmer's market just 2 minutes away. For those who like to shop, Paldium is just around the corner and the main old town square with astronomical clock is...

I am never in my room but when I am I sleep! However all of the amenities were perfect and just a little small in the bathroom but no problem with anything else. Great staff as well! Pretty close to everything and right next to the Palladium if you like to shop.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
