There is a HUGE shopping centre just at the top of the road and around the corner which we nearly missed as you wouldnt realise from the road how big... More

Booked on Expedia for a very reasonable price, like $46, but it was the low season January. Great location, and you can walk Old Town and the historical sites. Reception was very helpful, and room very quiet on the 3rd floor. Excellent breakfast was included in my price, so buy that option, like another $5 cheap for all the fresh... More

The hotel is nice. The staff is nice. The tourist information is great. The entrance is right next to the hotel and the help was wonderful. The LA BOCA restaurant is nice. And above all - the location is absolutely AMAZING!!! 4 minutes from the main square

We booked this hotel due to the positive feedback on tripadvisor. When we arrived in Prague we where thrilled that the hotel is right downtown and so easy to access and very easy to find as well. It is in a good spot to start your tour through the city. We walked almost every evening to the Charles Bridge through... More

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and the issues that have existed in the past appear to have been resolved. Located near Namesty Republiky metro station it is also close to where the Cedaz Airport Shuttle bus drops off, making it a perfect location. It is under 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and 20 minutes from the Charles... More

Quirky only partially describes this hotel. This is for those people who want to escape the cookie cutter approach of the big chains this hotel is a refreshingly boutique hotel in everything that means. The attached resturant is great value with its mixture of Spanish and Czech food well worth a visit for either a tapas lunch or a decent... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
