Neighborhood
Vinohrady & Vršovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

We went in a family group for a short week day break. The hotel was gorgeous, friendly and peaceful. Staff could not do enough for you from Michael on the desk to Elena who waited on breakfasts. Hotel very handy for trams into the centre of Prague and close to the Zizkov TV Tower. Will definitely return.

All staff is very helpful and friendly. This was the second time we were there, we will stay there again. The hotel is a bit off the tourist areas but it's a short walk to downtown. We like it and do recommend it.

We stayed for 5 nights at Louren which is located in the heart of the Vinohrady area. I wouldn’t call this a 4-star place, I thought it would be better described as 3-star. Don’t expect full service, there weren’t plates/bowls/cutlery/an iron etc. in your room that you would expect from a 4-star hotel. You would have to go down to the communal dining area and request them from the receptionist in charge. That’s not to say that the stay was unpleasant though. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and generally all the staff we met were very pleasant. Breakfast was okay. You get your usual bread, bacon, eggs etc.

We stayed here 4 nights. Everything was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful with all our needs and breakfast was excellent. It is a couple of stops on the metro to the main tourist sights which is great as it is an oasis from the hectic tourist sights.

Really enjoyed our stay. A little out of the city centre but tram and metro connections nearby make it easy to get into the main attractions, you can buy travel passes at reception. Room large and very comfortable, no noise or disturbances. Good choice at beakfast, very good coffee. All the staff very friendly and helpfull.
