This unique boutique hotel in Prague exudes the bohemian spirit of an art gallery. Enjoy the vintage design elegance and style of the 50s, 60s, and 70s inside when you return from admiring the ancient masterpieces of architecture outside. In the Vintage Design Hotel Sax you will find original furniture representing the period's cutting edge designers such as Panton, Colani, Saarinen, Eames and others. Our hotel is located directly under Prague Castle. We are close to Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Strahov Monastery and the Infant Jesus of Prague. Lesser Town (Mala Strana) district is a great choice for travelers interested in history, architecture and city walks. Public transport stations are also very close - only 5 minutes of walking to the nearest tram station and 10 minutes to subway. Prague Airport is about 20 minutes by taxi or car from the Hotel.

Neighborhood
Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

There’s little to complain about at this hotel - it’s brilliantly positioned, superbly decorated, offers a great breakfast and the staff are excellent. The walls must be pretty thin because the room next door kept me up all night watching football on tv, but I’m not sure

This rating is mainly about the room (number 1) they have offered, its in the basement, 140x200 bed, just enough space to walk beside the bed, window opens in the patio (nice view on walls), stinking and sticky air. Usually a room like this shouldn’t be offered to guests. We

Dear alexuser, first of all we want to thank you for taking time to share your feedback with us. Only with the feedback from our guests we can steadily improve our service. Secondly, we are sorry that you found your room too small, but that was exactly the room, that you have reserved -small basic budget room, ground floor. The size of the room was wriitten in your reservation, as well as the size of the bed, which is 180x200. Please, next time feel free to reserve a better category of the room, for example Deluxe or Suite. Regarding parking - we do offer a parking place 100 m away from the hotel. We're delighted to hear that you liked our central location. Although your stay was not to your complete satisfaction, we hope, you will give us the opportunity to restore your faith in Vintage Hotel Sax. Best regards Elizaveta

We stayed here for a couple of days , it was a perfect spot . The rooms are vintage as in the name of the hotel , very 60’s vibe . Hotel staff are polite and helpful but sometimes slow. The breakfast is perfect for what we needed . It’s a short walk to the centre and very close
