What a great hotel!!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfy and the decor very funky. There was a great variety of food for breakfast which changed every morning. The location was very convenient, right under the castle with charles bridge 5 minutes away. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

If you want to be slightly away from the madding tourist crowds, but still a 5 min walk to Charles Bridge, and a 10 minute walk to the castle, then this hotel has it all. On a very quiet street just below the castle and between the castle and Petrin Tower. I was upgraded from a single to a super... More

Fantastic hotel in a lovely part of Prague. Amazing decor, superb service and the breakfast starts the day off brilliantly! If you have an interest in 60's/70's design then this is a must visit destination. If you are feeling like splashing out the top floor rooms have amazing views over Prague. The only place to stay in Prague in my... More

Can hardly offer enough praise. This is a gorgeous boutique hotel so well situated that we walked everywhere in our 4 days in Prague. It's in a quiet picturesque street . Its style is retro; it is white, bright and spacious. Our room was big with high ceilings. The breakfasts were marvellous. The staff couldn't help us enough. Try it!

I chose this hotel for its location and I am glad that I picked this one. The hotel is in a quiet location away from the main areas but only a short walk across the Karl bridge. The rooms are 70'sand very funky along with the breakfast room and meeting room. I had no problems with the wifi but heard... More

We loved our stay here, amazing rooms each individually designed with a very cool and modern common area and extremely helpful staff. It was very nicely located, we were a 10 min walk from the Charles bridge and conveniently located to the tram stop. The breakfast was very delicious!

This characterful hotel is in a tucked-away corner of the Mala Strana district with easy access to the castle area, Petrin Park and the main square of the Lesser Quarter itself. Our room was comfortable with satellite TV (probably of most benefit for German speakers!), air conditioning and a large double bed. The area of this hotel is very secure,... More

This hotel is a real value and lots of a fun. The location is relatively close to the tram line but very quiet. It is easy to get to all the major sites and proximity to the park is a plus. Although a bit worn, the decor is fun and funky and the staff are quite pleasant and helpful. The... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
