Basic but clean, old fashioned, small and welcoming hotel in a good location. Worked well for us as we didn’t want to pay too much and didn’t want anything too luxurious. Welcoming and friendly receptionists (sorry we didn’t get the names), helpful with booking taxi back to the airport. Basic but tasty breakfast; small breakfast room and it got busy on certain mornings but we didn’t mind waiting for a bit. Lovely bar/restaurant attached to the hotel; good food and well priced (much cheaper than restaurants in Old Town). Good location in a quiet side road- about 15 mins walk to Old Town; 15 mins walk to Vltava river; 5 mins to supermarkets etc. Nice, clean, basic room. Was on 5th floor but lift worked well. Shower water temperature could have been hotter for me but my husband liked the temperature as it was. Good small old fashioned and cute hotel, good value and friendly. We liked it. Thank you for having us, Novomestsky hotel; we will recommend you.

Rooms doesnt have air conditioning which made the stay at +30 degrees very challenging. Breakfast was good with simple choices but the service staff was very loud arranging plates and cups everytime we sat to enjoy breakfast. Felt almost that they were mad that we were there.

A really lovely little hotel that is very central to all good things in Prague and if you want go a little further out, close to tram stops and the train station. Very clean and has friendly helpful staff. The breakfast buffet has a good fresh selection, the breakfast room is quite small, however things are cleaned and tidied very quickly, so you won't have a long wait for a table. There are stairs and the lift doesn't go to every floor, its an older building so just one of its quirks, but not ideal if you have mobility issues. I will certainly stay again when I return to Prague.

Room Tip: The hotel is quiet, but there is a bin collection at 5am, so a room is best at the back perhaps.

It was perfect (except for the elevator not stopping on the floors, so you always have to climb stairs): kind staff, comfortable bed, regular cleaning, central location yet silent street, nice warm bun at breakfast. I totally recommend this hotel for everyone except for people who need wheelchair and families with babies and/or toddlers.

Chose this place for a summer trip and was not disappointed. Close to all major tourists attractions in Prague, 10minutes walling distance from Charles Bridge, not that far from main train station. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room (twin) was spacious, overlooking the courtyard. Would definitely recommend visiting the hotel restaurant, great offers on lunch and drinks. Breakfast included had a variety of choices, everyone can find something they like (also, fresh pastry and bread). There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. Will definitely recommend to others and stay there again when in Prague

Very good family-oriented hotel in the center of Nove Mesto. Reasonably priced and triple rooms are available. We had a spacious room with big hallway, lot of storage as well. No problem with heating or hot water in the shower. Wi-Fi was working fairly well though not perfectly. Spotlessly clean, they really care about cleaning the rooms and changing towels. There’s a fridge in the room but no kettle. I think there’s no air conditioning also but that wasn’t an issue in late April. Good buffet breakfast though not very varied, definitely beyond usual bread-and-jam. Breakfast restaurant however is small and can get crowded. Very friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help though their English isn’t always good. We were leaving early morning (6 a.m.) and on checkout we found a big pack with breakfast prepared and waiting for us because restaurant only opens at 7. Very nice! Hotel is in an old building and there’s a grand staircase, elevator stops between floors and doesn’t go to ground floor at all so you’d have to haul your luggage several steps up. The location is very convenient; everything is reachable on foot though there are tram and metro stops nearby.

I initially spent a few days here and I really enjoyed it, it is a really comfortable hotel. I had a lovely room, a fantastic bathroom and a very good breakfast. The day I checked out, i had my passport stolen and I couldn't leave the Czech Republic , so I checked back into the hotel as I had nowhere else to go. A lovely lady called Irena greeted me at reception and was incredibly helpful and kind. She made what was a a horrible day so much better by listening to me and being a lovely person. She is definitely one of the main reasons I will come back to this hotel. The rest of the staff were also so accommodating, including a lady called Teresa who was exceptionally kind and helpful. I ended up staying for another 4 nights while I sorted out my way to get home, and being in the hotel was definitely a highlight during that time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Prague. If the great location, rooms and breakfast aren't enough to get you there, then the staff definitely should be. :)
