This was our first visit to Prague and we were so pleased with every element of this hotel. The location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere, amazing views of the Charles Bridge and across the river to the old town, yet so peaceful. The area felt very safe, we went for a late night walk across the bridge which I...

Great location, great service, great 'atmosphere. Excactly what we wanted. We will defiantly will take this hotel for the next time we are in Prague. It's a Cousy small hotel, not in the center of old town but just under the Charles bridg, you can ask for a room with view to the river.

This was our first visit to the wonderful city of Prague. Everything was booked online and we were pleasantly surprised at both the location and quality of this hotel. It's on an island in the river, and access to the Charles Bridge is only about 100m away. So whichever way you are headed, either into the old city, or up...

We stayed in a quadruple room for 3 nights. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location not far from a busy Charles Bridge. The hotel is very homely, clean and was perfect for us. We will definately stay there again. The food in the restaurant was very impressive and we received discount for being a hotel guest.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now for business. Beautiful location with Charles Bridge right beside the hotel. The rooms are classical style and very spacious. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend for the location/price.

We stayed at the Archibald for a weekend in Prague and were very happy with the hotel and the service we received. They booked a taxi for us from the airport to the hotel very promptly after I emailed. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere about it, nice and quiet but also quite warm and cosy. We got checked...

Amazing room, very clean with stunning view overlooking the bridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really good but a little disappointed with restaurant in the evening. Prague is a really beautiful fairytale city with plenty to do and see. Location of the hotel is easily accessible to the centre but is in a lovely quiet street. Would definitely...

We spent 6 nights in this perfectly located, friendly hotel. The room was clean with a beautiful view over the river (room 20). Ideal for all the old town activities but without all the noise and just a 5 minute walk away. Great breakfasts with huge unlimited selection to suit all. However we were disappointed with the evening restaurant and did...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
