Rooms were clean and well appointed. Great location! Only downside was reception was not available later in the evening, making it difficult when we needed something. FYI just a tip you cannot use Uber as cars are not allowed to come down the street. Have a short walk to a nearby meeting point.
I was finally able to do a road trip across East Europe (after Covid cancellations). This hotel was in the perfect location in Prague. Easy walking distance to all the popular sites. We had a top floor room (high ceilings, exposed beams, sky windows) with a small window river view of the Charles Bridge, which was very close to walk to. Room was quiet. Front desk staff was very helpful, parking was close (we had to pay the hotel about $20(US) a day). Breakfast was one of the best here versus all of our other stops. There was a mixture of hot and cold food in a unique cave type dining area. I would easily choose this place again when coming back!
This was a long delayed trip to Prague due to Covid! The hotel is located on Kampa Island, which has a large park close to the hotel. Charles Bridge is 100 metres away. There are a wide variety of food service in the area from baguette shops to fine dining. The hotel fronts Kampa Square. The Square does have foot traffic, outdoor dining, which does result in some noise for rooms facing the Square. I slept with the windows open, so more noise! The rooms have mini fridges to cool beverages, store food items. The double room is large, with a shower. There is air conditioning, not necessary during my stay. A buffet breakfast is provided, with ham, salami, variety of veggies, cheese, fruit, cereal, variety of bread, eggs, sausage. An excellent choice of foods. The Front Desk was helpful when it came to travel COVID testing. Provided directions to the test facility, assisted with the down loading and printing of the test results. Their assistance, made the testing less stressful. Great location, excellent breakfast, large rooms, everything I wanted in this class of hotel. A great choice in a faith with a wide variety of accommodation…
Perfect location. The single best view I have ever had. The staff were very helpful. Especially Victoria H. A nice young lady who seemed to live at the front desk and helped us everytime we came and went. Beds are comfy. The only downfall I found was no place at all ti put sosp etc while showering.
As Swedish citizens we're not allowed to enter the Czech Republic and Czech Airlines have cancelled our flights. I understand the hotels need for cash during the pandemic, but it still leaves a bitter taste that we will need to pay for a hotel visit which will not happen, and not on any fault on our side, but all due to the (understandable) decision by the Czech government not to allow Swedish citizens in. In short we're paying for hotel and flight services to Czech companies which the Czech government forbids us to use, and none of the companies agrees to refund us.
