We had to cancel our trip a week earlier than the booking date, because of a military coup-de-main in Turkey. Even though the apartment was booked as non-refundable and my credit card was already charged weeks ago, Reservation Manager Ms. Polednova gave us a full refund with no questions asked! I was very surprised when they supported us very kindly... More

We spent 3 nights here this past week. This is definitely a no frills basic hotel in a reasonable location. The breakfast options were good but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Desk staff were variable. The male receptionists were helpful.

This hotel really took me by surprise. Affordable, and still so nice. Beautiful rooms with nice beds. A bit outside center but still there is easy to get downtown with trams! Very nice and helpful staff. They go far to help you.

We stayed in this small family run chain hotel whilst visiting Prague for our 30th wedding anniversary, nothing was too much for the staff, they were so helpful. We had an apartment, so had a kitchenette with a kettle, fridge & microwave. The room was spacious & comfortable & for those who can't be without wifi, there was free wifi... More

We arrived here and were quickly booked into our room,409,which was on the fourth floor.Staff were very friendly however we were both ever so slightly underwhelmed by our room....clean and tidy but extremely basic with no coffee or tea( or a kettle in the room)making facilities. Our inclusive dinner offered a buffet which consisted of pork and mushrooms, potatoes, salad, vegetables and rice.... The hotel has friendly staff members who are also helpful. Not the fanciest hotel in the world, but it has the basic things you need for a good stay. Tram, buss and underground stations are close to the hotel as well, but the hotel has good location so you can get to many popular places in Prague just by walking.

The location is good, just near the river, and a nice walk to the castle. The rooms are spacious, nothing spectacular, but quite affordable. The breakfast was varied and the staff was nice. There is a tourist tax, but this is normal in many cities.

This hotel is perfect for budget travellers who want to forego a hostel. The room was huge, and the free breakfast was welcome. It is in a great area, surrounded by local bars and restaurants, and walking distance to almost anywhere you want to go. The hotel was easily found using the metro, and is situated not a far walk... Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
