The location is good, just near the river, and a nice walk to the castle. The rooms are spacious, nothing spectacular, but quite affordable. The breakfast was varied and the staff was nice. There is a tourist tax, but this is normal in many cities.

We've traveled with my wife and 1.4 year old daughter. There was nice and comfortable room with small but useful kitchen. The crib was placed by our arrive just in accordance with our request. I really like the hotel's destination. There is a beautiful park just in a few steps from the hotel, Charles bridge and Kampa museum are not... More

This hotel is perfect for budget travellers who want to forego a hostel. The room was huge, and the free breakfast was welcome. It is in a great area, surrounded by local bars and restaurants, and walking distance to almost anywhere you want to go. The hotel was easily found using the metro, and is situated not a far walk... We went here for Christmas on a 3 day trip. It is a clean hotel, really central from most of the main attractions. Staff was nice, spoke decent english, rooms wrre a bit old fashioned but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was decent, enoigh food yet not very diverse. The parking is extra 8euros a day, but not such a big... More

We had booked a double room with Kitchenette for our 4 nights stay in Prague and couldn't have asked for more. The room was huge with a spacious living room which was perfect for our son to wander around! The tram station is at a 3-4 minutes walking distance which made our life so easy! Plus there are couple of... More

You know what to expect when you book a room at an Ibis hotel. It’s the same kind of furniture and facilities in pretty much all of them. I was satisfied with my room, the bed and the wifi speed. If anything the room could be painted as the walls looked tired. Even though the hotel is pretty close to... More

Great location - 2 minute walk to nearest tram station Ujezd; 10 minute walk to Lesster town bridge / charles bridge; Lots and lots of restaurants nearby - spoilt for options - China restaurant, NOI, cafe Savoy, Mexican canteen to name a few Reasonable rates, easy booking. They provided room service everyday. The building was quite old. There was a... More

The service was great, the room clean and nice and was fixed everyday. The breakfast had many choices and was a nice start on the day. The location was spot on and it was easy to get to any point of town quickly.

Concur with previous reviewers about the great location and the great staff (really can't say enough about how good the staff is here - they are that good). Prague in August is a very popular tourist location and they seemed to be out in force throughout the day and night. Our room was on the Fourth floor - not high... More

Staying here with wife and mother for a 4 night stay in Prague. Super nice staff gave us plenty of info on arrival and stored our bags for us as room wasn't quite ready at 10:30am. They even recommended tours, restaurants and local grocery stores. As there are three of us traveling they gave us a larger room with kitchen... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
